Having pre booked a junior suite, the availability was limited on arrival. The one suite we were shown was spacious and spotlessly clean, but had foliage from the grounds right up against the window, thus obscuring the views we had requested and cutting out the light. We opted for a lower grade suite with a balcony to secure a view (of sort) from our room.We found the hotel to be convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. The staff on reception were were most couteous and helpful. The room was spacious and bed was most comfortable. One of the male staff (early to mid 40's with spectacles) in the breakfast restaurant was less than welcoming and appeared 'stressed out'. The egg service was rather slow and warm plates were not provided, thus any cooked breakfast cooled very quickly. |

Old colonian style ambience. Very rare in today's society. We had room 159 facing back garden & pool. Very badly maintained, looks uninviting. Pool's loungers are in fabric which gets wet and stays wet permanently, worn-out & very dirty. Even those sheltered table & chairs remain wet without care. Pity a find a garden that cannot be enjoyed. Although these rooms has many windows but due to construction of those sliding doors blinds, always only half of those windows can be exposed. Would have like the choice to completely open up room to let in more daylight. Just too sad looking to be always in the damn dark 'cave'. |

The staff were very accomadating and helpful. Stayed at the Parklane Suite. It was much cleaner than the apartment i stayed in October earlier this year. However, i find the apartments a little old and need to be refurbished. |

We stayed in a detached wing for long term accomadation, so we had a very large room with a seperate bedroom, a kitchen and bathroom with a bath/shower..Very comfortable. Great value. Just around the corner form Orchard Rd. Because of the one way street it is on, taxis have to come a very circuitous route back to the hotel, And Singapore traffic is very heavy, so we got stuck in a few traffic jams - not the hotels fault but I would think about this if we travel to Singapore again.. |

Location, Room Size, Quality of Furnishings Good Staff but poorly managed. Too interested in looking good rather than providing actual service. Everything including the poor breakfast service is extra. |

Conveniently close to Orchard st shopping malls. Also central to the city. For the price I paid I would have expected the furniture to be newer as well as the appartments electrical equipment. |

The room is spacious and clean. It has a very nice view of the swimming pool. The pillow is too soft, hence my neck ached after one night. There's no lock to the bathroom door, which is quite inconvenient. |

The hotel building exhibits an 'old world' charm reminiscent of Sinagpore's colonial heritage and stands on a decent sized plot offering relief from the many highrise, cheek-by-jowl hotel and shopping malls in the vicinity. The interior ambience and service delivery have been modernised to complement rather than diminish the overall experience. Cerute Tailors situated in the passageway just off the main lobby are first rate. The off main site serviced apartments, whilst large compared to the main hotel rooms, are getting quite tired in places. Whilst some decent remordernisation has been carried out in terms of updating the interior decor, the bathroom tiling and exterior paintwork needed attention. The rooms should be described as 'serviced apartments' not 'suites'. I have stayed at the Goodwood Park hotel several times and would stay in the main hotel rater than the serviced apartments in future. Whilst thriving and busy throughout the day, the hotel can be very quiet and deserted by 11pm. |

I love the location of the hotel. The room was too cold, even when the temperature was adjusted to the warmest. Suspect the thermostat was not functioning. |

Hotel locatin was great nearby DFS, major department stores, and Orchard MRT station. The room was pretty large in size, had two stories with kitchen, which would be ideal for family stay. The hotel was consisted of several towers, and the tower where our room was was very far from the hotel front. It was really inconvenient. I recommend the people who are thinking of choosing this hotel to check which tower they will be allocated before their decision. |

Breakfast, The room and breakfast room, Bell Boys Service at Counter. I have met one lady and ask her for the other hotel's address which I have got the other day but I lost it. She emphasized to me that next time please keep it safe because we need to spend time to find out that address for you again. I dont' like her answer and it is not polite to me as guest. |

Great location, friendly staff in hotel with real character. Facitilies such as the bar and coffee shop closed to early at 10.30. At this type of hotel you would expect them to remain open until at least mid night? |

The staff were helpful & courteous, the concierge (Idil) went out of his way to assist us. Great relaxed family environment, the pools were very clean and inviting. The history of the hotel is very interesting. We would certainly stay there again. Shower - safety reasons - climbing intoand out of a reasonably slippery bathtub to shower is not particularly easy or safe. |

Non intrusive Needs renovation, Paintwork pealing, old furniture. The Parklane Suite was very spacious, very clean and everything worked. They must however put some lighting on those stairs for night visits to the bathroom. And you cannot see that bottom step, which makes it dangerouus!! Otherwise we loved it. |

Staff were very friendly and efficient and provided early checkin The Weekend Promotion rate with the upgrade to a Parklane Suite was not offered, staff said most people like to stay in hotel, but we wanted the space. We were shown the suite later in the afternoon on day of arrival. |

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is fairly convenient. The room was tired and in need of some refurbishment. No iron/ironing board in room. In-room hairdryer was ineffective. |
