The interior design of the hotel are quite indulging for relaxation The Hotel room are clean, nice and large. The Location is near enough Orchard which has lots of stores to see

The Hotel Pay perview movie are really too easy to purchase from the remote (no password) and have cost me a lot of money due to My smallest child unknowingly managed to "play with the buttons" on the remote and managed to "buy" more than 8 movies in a duration of 4 hours...I know i could have asked the hotel to block the content but still an initiative from them to warn me that my pay-per-view cost have strange behavior would be highly appreciated..

Excellent Location, low rise hotel surrounded by nice gardens.

Included internet was for only one device, paid internet very expensive, just about every budget hotel now includes internet free!

Good food in the Restaurants and also excellent Breakfast

Dont like having to pay for internet usage when room rate is expensive. Should be complimentary.

the breakfast for a 5 stars hotel was not up to expectation, inteior design was very common nothing exclusive.

No free wi-fi anywhere in the hotel, including the lobby area

Excellent hotel in almost every way (except see niggles). Smaller Mayfair pool is a shady delight, service is first class and friendly. It is nice that they cater with ease for families as well as adults only. Finally a brilliant concierge who found my iPhone which I thought I had lost.

1 litre Bottled evian water at s$12 in the room!! (There is free local water) Fiddley control pannel for lights, air con etc. Worst: WiFi is charged at s$0.85 Per min up to s$28 per day, but logging off is impossible! Charging for WiFi is nowadays like charging for running water, it should be in the price. That and the Evian make the hotel look greedy, which is a pity since it detracts from the excellent work of the staff, management please note.

The Goodwood Park Hotel is a great place to base yourself in Singapore. An oasis from Orchard Rd yet so close. Colonial charm, great staff and non-chintzy luxury. A great hotel without the Razzle-dazzle modernity of its newer competition.

Ask for a renovated room if you want the latest and greatest, the Mayfair wing (currently being renovated is still super comfy but a little dated).

It is a very difficult person who can find much wrong with this hotel. It is absolutely superb . Our room opened onto the small pool which was very nice.

Good location only a 5 minute walk from Orchard Road and its many shopping malls. Not many bars and restaurants close by, but they are only and 10/15 minute metro ride away. Metro station is 5 minute walk from hotel.

The hotel added 10% service charge + gst (vat) to everything which can catch you out first time, this also applied to most bars and restaurants in Singapore.

Location - close to Orchard Road shopping area. Comfortable room, beds and facilities. Choice of dining areas. STAFF - first class attention, very friendly and helpful. Low rise hotel

Location to shopping and peaceful areas to relax. The fact that it is not a multi storey building and has some gardens

Confusion as to late checkout time and extra charges on account. The nespresso machines are a trap and not included in the tea and coffee complimentary in the room

They made a mistake with my booking and trying to sort it out at 12 midnight when I checked in was painful. They didn't offer any compensation when, the next morning I complained about being 'upgraded' to their horrible split-level studio, with decor about 40 years old and air-conditioning not much younger than that.

Friendly staff Hotel was not too big and busy Close to Orchard Rd. and convenient location

As previously, a very good old fashion hotel with excellent location ...

Late check out was not possible. Flights departing at midnight are very common and you could try to consider late checkouts as a very well come service... mainly for changing clothing from tropical for winter!

Love the building, love the friendly staff, love the location. Just perfect.

difficulty getting out of bath following my shower , no hand supports. Had total knee replacement.

Old fashioned style and comfort. Quality furniture in public areas. Excellent location, pleasant gardens. Staff were friendly and professional.

No two way switch on stairway light in the Apartments where I stayed. Downstairs bathroom.

Two swimming pools, each surrounded by green. Friendly staff. Breakfast offered wide choice. Original lay-out with much space, no high rise.

Initially we had a room without a view (not overviewing one of the swimming pools), but could change it. Pay for wifi/internet.

The location.

The studio was situated away from all the facilties. It was in a rather run down, almost sorry state for a rather stately facade...its so misleading.
