Staff was very rude n non cooperative.
Staff is coperative..good heigeine
Close to the train station
The room was really unclean. Hairs and food crams on the floor. Soap scum and pink mould in the shower room. The bath room smelt like piss. Aunts were everywhere in the room. Requested room change from the 2nd floor to the 5th floor. There were still aunts and they went inside of my suits case because I left it open during night. After having a room change and came back to the hotel from outing, we found our room's door was open. Suppose the cleaner left it open in the morning so it was open for about 10 hours. Nothing was stolen but it was unacceptable. Hindu temple is right beside of our room and they played drums and bells from 6 in the morning for 30 minutes non stop every day!! I strongly recommend to spend a couple of hundred dollars to stay at a different hotel. Seriously I prefer staying at back packers than this hotel.
Lift was using access card control but keep having problem. Slipper, toothbrush n toothpaste wasn't provide. Cant really find another hotel charging this price and don't provide all this items.
A unique location in a big modern city. Dream a little and you are back in the old Straits Settlements. A walk down Memory Lane, alive and truly vibrant. If you want a big modern hotel in a sterile environment then this 'ain't the place for you.
Noise, noise and more noise, but it goes with the location.........why everywhere in Spore is the quoted price different to the final price? Because it ".........includes tax".
Made to wait for check in for more than 3 hours. Refused to provide basuc amenities during waiting for check in. Discourteous behaviour of staff, room service. No porter service by 10 pm. No proper response. No service on GST refund and guidance. rooms kept open after cleaning.no response for the complaint. totally unconcerned approach.
More of Veg restaurants near by

Very, very dirty Security keys often don't work Moved rooms four times in a 7 day stay (1st room was smoking, 2nd room was full of insects and looking out directly at a wall - very dark, 3rd room had the aircon fail after a few days, so we moved into a fourth room!!)
SUPER HANDY FOR SHOPPING AND AWESOME RESTAURENTS

Everything is nearby and easy approachable.
Without request room service person can knock your room for room cleaning.
Nice room and nice staff

Not worth for the money
Good location for Shopping in Little India
The room was bare minimum. Eve drinking water was not given. The drinking glasses were cheap.
the travel shop oppsite to hotel i think apsara holidays too good n get cheap tour from it.realy value for money n tour seller gives very good guidence
staff attitude towards indian specaly at reception manager
location, In room facilties, handling check, check out
Very few channels on TV, Limited variety in breakfast items .
Rooms should be little bigger for the charges taken. There should little flexible on check in and check out timings.
Rude staff. When I asked a clarification about the bill, the rude receptionists said me to ask booking.com..no customer service at all..worst ever hospitality..most rude people are placed in the reception
Pathetic service, uncooperative staff, filthy bathrooms, no room service after 10.00pm and no house keeping after 10.00pm, No proper bathroom accessories. One of the worst experience ever had
The usage of internet, everyday need to renew the password staffs were not friendly, sour face No towel provided in the swimming pool only 2 packs of coffee are given in a day, no allowed to ask for more, but we did not use the tea provided. the bathroom was not properly clean, empty shampoo bottles all over the bathroom many restrictions staying in this hotel it was very different from the Hotel Grand Chancellor l stayed in Adelaide
Nothing about it !!!!
1) Location is very inconvenient. 2) The staff was very unfriendly. 3) The room was a "disgrace", hair on the floor, dirty shower and bathroom, pillows were staiined and bed sheet was also stained and dirty. Carpet was disgusting with overall was a very unacceptable room. 4) The noise from the temple was very loud strting at 3am on sunday 21st June. 5) My room was upgraded and it was a better room but very bad value for money. 6) Overall cleaniness was very bad in the foyer and everywhere in the hotel. 7) Very dissapointed overall.
Absolutely nothing to like about this Hotel. In fact this particular Hotel is damaging the brand of the Grand Chancellor. I have stayed in other Grand Chancellor Hotel Chains and they have always been superb.
Upon entry staff not overly friendly. But to top it off the rooms were absolutely disgusting. Cleaning of the rooms is non existent. Hair everywhere. Never Vaccumed. Mould in the bathroom. Dirty Towels and Linen. Never in my life have i seen any hotel rooms so disgusting. Have stayed in better 3 star hotles than this. This hotel is clearly damaging the Grand Chancellor Brand name.
