Location easy taxi ride to places I needed to visit, inclusion of breakfast with room fare, wide choice of breakfast food, surroundings - pleasant walk along river Cold hash brown potatoes and bacon every morning. |

Breakfast was delicious with a big variety of dishes and fruits. Great view from the room. Clean and comfortable guest rooms. Very nice and attentive hotel staff. Room was a little bit shabby (floor in bathroom and wallpapers in room). I heard neighbours tallking over the phone loudly in the morning. |

The Capthorne Waterfront's location on the river was ideal for our stay. It's away from the hustle of the city, yet close enough to the shopping districts of China Town and Clarke Quay. The buffet dinner was superb. |

We had a complimentary upgrade to a room which is really spacious. The view from the room was amazing. The room is clean and very comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. The hairdryer wasn't working but it's not a big problem. They provided me with another hair dryer. No toothbrush provided. They were prompt when we requested for one. |

The hotel is located near the waterfront but 15 min walk from Clark Quay (it's upper waterfront). The room is neat and clean, also the view from the hotel is nice if you are on a higher floor. The hotel is expensive for what it offers. I would suggest the Excelsior-Peninsula with similar price if available. It is very far from the MRT metro (you need a taxi to go almost everywhere), also far from the Clark Quay where the restaurants and bars are. The rooms are neat but not recently renovated, the design of the rooms of other 4* hotels is better. Internet is expensive in the rooms at 30SGD per day. |

It is a luxury hotel, by the city river with a nice view. It's not far from the centre of the city and it is good choice for someone who attend to visit Singapore |

Despite it not being on Orchard road, traveling to Orchard road for shopping was relatively easy. We had a good view of the Singapore river from our bedroom and the overall ambience was one of relaxation and tranquility. The breakfast was more than satisfactory although we did not have other meals in the hotel, preferring to eat our main meals at the very pleasant Clarke Quay area which is only a pleasant 15 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value. |

Always very friendly staff + ease of check-in and check-out. Would be good for your computer system to recognise repeat customers. I have stayed with you perhaps 10 times in the past 3 years and while some of your staff recognise me, there is no initial welcome back prompted by the check-in system. |

the possiton was plewasant we did not like being upgraded to an executive room with out being asked then told we could not avail ourselves to any of the executive privileges..........you do not put someone in business class then give them an economy meal!!! It was not our fault they were over booked and we had booked our room many months ago. |

The manger, addressed the problems well, upgraded me to a excecutive suite. The lounge facilities still need to upgrade a lot. I have stayed in hilton which cost me less money and provided much better lounge facilities with better quality drinks and a fantastic range of canapes (although not much for vegetarians). This hotel need to show its 5 * quality with what they offer, and staff looking after the clients needs. I had problems in this area. Not really. I cut my trip short because I didn't really like it and it was too late to get another hotel at a reasonable rate. The picture of the hotel on the booking,com site was misleading. It is not convenient to get around as it is not near an MRT. I had booked the excecutive lounge/room. I found 3 mini cockroaches in the room, I could not move to another room that night, as my children were sleeping but I did not sleep at all. The lounge facilities were bear minimum, and not upto 5 star standard. The manager addressed the issue and upgraded me to a suite, which was very nice, and changed the wine for me when I complained about the quality of wine. I still had to pay 50% for the first night, after my insistance. Not a good experience. |

I love the food that they serve. Good breakfast and lunch. I did not have an opportunity to have dinner there, but I believe it must be good. More information shall be posted regarding the free shuttle service. |
