Grand Park City Hall  

The staff at reception were attentive, pleasant and helpful. Location is ideal for Suntec (5 mins walk across the square) and only 5 mins to Riverside, 15 to Orchard and Easy access to Marina Bay Area via MRT from City Hall which is 2 mins away.. Overall Location is very good with some 24 hour shops nearby and Funan Mall (electronics etc) 2 mins across the road. Room clean and prompt makeup service in the mornings by civil staff. Lots of glasses etc in room and pleanty of toiletries. No problems with any of this and Wifi is excellent. Staff courteous and non-obtrusive.

The smell of tobacco smoke in the corridors is bad. Also well-used ashtrays in the lobbies. In this day and age and given the pickiness of the Singapore government on all sorts of issues it ought to be possible to either create a non-smoking hotel or isolated smoking floors. Or, ventilate smoking rooms so that the smell does not creep into the corridor. It was my only reservation and detracts from an otherwise good experience. So I mark my recomendation 'yes' but have to make that reservation.

I got a good deal price otherwise it would be unnecessarily expensive.

They've got great team who's focus is primarily Customer service, and I can't say enough of their great service and their friendly team always welcoming their guests. We loved it and will go there again.

Nice Room Amenities. Hotel is well located and has great facilities. Counter staff is extremely courteous and gave us a welcome drink for making us wait.

Pillows were too soft. I used 2 and didn't sleep well also. Not enough lights. Checking in took slightly longer than expected. Room wasn't ready at 2 as promised

Even though the hotel isn't located near Orchard Road, but it's only a short walk to mrt City Hall station which is quite convenient to go wherever you want and not far from the Raffles. The room is comfort and quiet.

The bathroom should be cleaner not with dirty marks around the tub.

5 star Lobby. Nightly music in the lobby bar with very talented female singers. I liked the interior design of the lifts (elevators). Good location for shopping.

3 star accommodation - tired and drab. Very Noisy Aircon, complained the first night as I couldn't sleep, and they said they would change my room next day; they didn'T....so I had to turn it off at night. Very small swimming pool, I like to swim every day, but the size and location was very unappealing. Very small bathroom, just enough room to enter as the door almost hits the wc. Staff mostly unfriendly, I thought I had become invisible when no-one wished me Good Morning until the 3rd Day.

Room was fine with free high speed cable internet. Breakfast buffet was included in rate and was pretty good and varied. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit on the small side and not the most modern.
