Grand Park City Hall    

Personeel was uitermate vriendelijk. Onze koffers konden zowel voor het inchecken als na het uit checken zonder enig probleem worden bewaakt. Douchen na het uitchecken in het hotel was tevens een fijne extra. De ligging is perfect, vlakbij het metrostation. Geen last gehad van de werkzaamheden, die zijn er nou eenmaal overal in Singapore!

Douche straal stond op standje waterbesparing. Uiteraard een goed punt, milieutechnisch, maar dat viel ons wel op.

Prijs-kwaliteit is prima. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Centrale ligging, alles op loopafstand. Gezellige hotelbar met live muziek. Kamers niet groot maar wel schoon en netjes. Prima kingsize bed en een mooie badkamer. Gratis wifi op de kamer, wat bij veel hotels in S'pore niet het geval is.

Comfortable & clean hotel with welcoming & helpful staff. Excellently located in the middle of the city. Easy access to all of the main attractions.

No wifi in the rooms. This is 2013 in Singapore, and the internet access in the rooms is only wired! It was also a pain having to re-register each day for the free wifi in the public areas. The shopping mall just across from the hotel was a meeting place for young people, which made it very busy and difficult the get through at times.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in all departments. The front of house facilities were very good. We enjoyed a special Easter Sunday buffet lunch which was very good value.

We had a free upgrade which was nice, but even so the room left a little to be desired when compared to other hotels that we have used in Singapore in the same price range. The room decoration was bland and uninteresting - it could have been brightened up easily with a few pictures on the walls.

Great location, very close to public transport and only a short stroll away from the river. Good restaurants nearby.

Poor water pressure in shower (6th floor). Poor lighting level in room. Two free coffee sachets and two free tea bags provided per day, which seems an odd way to save money.

The location and friendly, helpful staff at the Hotel made our trip even more fantastic!

No pool drink service. The pool seemed quite a distance to get to from our room, but the pool was nice.

We enjoyed the comfort of our room and the free wifi. Location was good, too...only a short stroll away from the bars, pubs, restaurants, shops of the Clarke and Boat Quay.

B'fast wasn't included in the rate of our room and the supplement for it was s$25,00 per person which is a bit steep.

Good location in centre, just a few minutes walk for subway station.

We arrived early and wanted to have a rest after a 10-hour flight, so we had to buy a 'club member' room for additional 92 singhas plus taxes to check-in immediately. Room stank and we had to cope with it. The staff was friendly but they just love making queues! As club members, we had an opportunity to eat at 10th floor at privileged (and rather small) dining room. But its full if you don't wake up at 7 am! We got down to the 1st floor and stood in line with others to be allowed to enter the big lunch-hall... We stayed for New Year days, but the proposed ny party at the hotel was mediocre, luckily we missed it going to the harbour for fireworks. The bottle of champagne at the dawn of the 1st of January cost us mere 200 usd, so beware! Would find something different next time.

The club lounge was great. The three hours in the evening where you have free cocktails and canapés means that as a solo traveller I didn't need a meal afterwards. The food was amazing, well worth paying extra for a club room, which also gives you free Internet and laundry.

The bathroom was small, especially as it was a club room, and looked a bit dated.

Rooms are a bit dated and tired and could do with a face lift. TV reception is poor.

The attitude of their staff at the club reception who spoiled my new year day. The rooms were small compared to other hotels club rooms.

The location is great, less than 15 mins walk from City Hall mrt Station. The rooms condition are good, new and clean.

The room smells cigarette when entered but staff tried to solve. Also, I called reception and housekeeper from room telephone, even call the hotel from my handphone, nobody answered the call. I informed the reception but the problem was not solved.

I like the design of the rm.

Friendly welcome at all times. Good service and good food in the restaurant. Comfortable room.

No room in the 'fridge for my own beer.
