the location of the hotel was excellent, the staff were good and polite and the hotel was clean. nothing bad, but if i had to say something negative, it would be the lack of comfort in the bar area. after a day walking and seeing the sights, a bit of comfort while having a cold drink would be appreciated. |

It was a pleasant stay and because of its location, was easily accessible. The lifts were too slow and many a time was overloaded with guests |

Room: The floors are made of floating floorboards so they are easier to keep clean. Location: The hotel is within walking distance to the Bugis train station. We were unable to check in until 12 noon. Our flight landed at around 5.30am. They looked after our baggage but we had to walk around the area until noon waiting to check in. Also, the walls are a little thin so you can sometimes hear the people in adjacent rooms. |

Although the Ibis is a part of a chain of hotels - the rooms did not have too much of a "McHotel" feel to them. Decor of the room was tasteful... Being a Muslim - it would have helped if the hotel restaurant had a "Halal" menu. Nevertheless, this was not a big issue in view that there were halal eateries located across the street from the hotel. |

The room was large and airy, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. The hotel showed environmental awareness in providing options when it came to how often towels and bedlinen were to be changed. I also particularly appreciated having control over the air-conditioning for my room. The location was ideal, as many areas of interest in Singapore are within walking distance. |

bus service outside hotel was so convenient, within walking distance of arab street, bugis street , good local markets and shopping centres happy hour drinks were far too expensive, lunch and dinner menu was too expensive and not really for the western tourist. It should also include snacks like a sandwich or soup or coffee and cake. |

We loved the location (walking distance to the MRT, Orchard Road and Little India), the complimentary free internet, the clean compact room and the friendly, helpful staff. The beds were hard by western standards! |

(1) It was new and clean and doesn't have the strange smell normally hotels have (2) conveniently located near the busy Bugis street and a lot of excellent food courts and food stalls nearby. (1) Almost all taxi drivers have not heard about this hotel and we have to tell them the road to turn in because it's too new. (2) Quite far from China Town and Orchard Road when there is traffic jam. |
