nice atmosphere... beautiful countryside..
Quiet environment, private own space
It's a pity that they did not keep up with maintainence of the rooms. Visible spiderwebs in the room. Mini-fridge n hot kettle were dirty looking.
The room was nice
requested for early check in, but didnt get it and have to wait for extra time instead 3pm check in. Apart from that, it's very deep inside. Staff did not even try to acommodate to my early check in
Where else in Singapore that we can go back to what we are many years back. With insects crawling around and birds chirping away, toads and frogs calling each other in the nighy, etc. i missed these feelings when we were what we were in the old days. When we got back home, noises everywhere, packed with people, infriendly neighbors, pollution, and worst of all cant even see the open sky properly. This place is not a star rated hotel stay but to bring us back to who we are. A city with tall buildings is great, but not the entire island please. Recommended for those who wanted a peaceful lifestyle back in the kampong days, and away from noises and pollution.
very quite and away from city crowd
open bath, no restaurant for breakfast or coffee, tea
Breakfast was totally waste.
No body bothers that we are there :-(
The car pouch and the shower .
The location and food wise. ( not much halal food )
Feel like cheated
it was overall Quiet & comfortable with nice clean bed. There are no insects bite during the stay. The private parking makes it useful as the car park is usually full from visitors.
Noise from open karaoke till 1 am. if you are a light sleeper, the noise will keep you awake till 1am. Beware that the open karaoke is like chinese Ge-tai with Hokkien songs. So if you can't beat them, join them.
I love the car pouch where we just drive in and park. Small cosy room enough for a staycation. Love it and will book again!
None so far. Keep up the good work!
No one look after the farm lack of facilities and program set up for the guess Staff - lacking of training
Like chinese restaurant and swiftlets museum
Balcony too small and blocked by the plants. Bathroom basin filled with ants crawling.
The location was serene and relaxing.
Cleanliness was poor and the room looked different the the photos. Looks rather run down though the setting was good. The vegetable plot within the resort were all dried up. Bicycle kiosk and mini mart were closed. The farms were not within the resort which we thought so. Without a car, you won't be able to visit the farms which are not very near. TV reception was poor. Basically, nothing to do there.
I had a great night rest. Its wonderful not to hear any cars or people outside. Even the crickets were not to be heard when I was having my supper at the balcony. I stayed at room 17 and could hear the karaoke faintly though. I was expecting a toilet crawling with worms and an army of ants but nope, the toilet is very clean and just saw a few ants when unlocking the main door to go in. (During breakfast, we saw maintenance guys doing fumigation so i guess its done on a regular basis to keep out the insects?) No flies on the lamp, no creepy crawlies though the shower is semi open air, meaning there is a glass panel wall not built up to the ceiling so natural light can be let in. U also get to shower next to a plant taller than you, that is planted outside the glass panel with a leaf poking in. But zero insects at all even when the light is switched on at night. Pity abt the few crawling house ants but I guess thats may be the min to be expected at rustic resorts? I dunno as its my first time doing staycation at a farm. Facilities were in good working order. No broken lock, spoilt kettle, etc. Seriously the other reviews made me worry too much. Breakfast was prepared hot on the spot - hashbrown, 2 hotdogs, eggs, toast and self service coffee or tea, portion which is just nice for me. I also enjoyed driving out at night along to hunt for food. Driving along rows of trees and greenery was so relaxing. We went to Woodlands for dinner and found this really wonderful Western stall that sells delicious Hawaiian Smoked Chicken at a cheap price. We also dabao Banana Chicken from the same coffeeshop for night snack. Another perk of staying in a remote area where food prices are lower as compared to the city!
Must have car if you plan to stay there. Otherwise there is nothing to do outdoors in the evening if you dont like prawning and karaoke, available in resort. There is also nothing to stare at except the same trees and grass which is lovely to look at, but not something you want to face for the entire evening, stuck with nowhere to go. The nearest busstop is a good few km away. I also think that the bed can be more comfy and the pillows can offer better support for the neck. But I m ok with the bed since I could have a good night sleep. Just saying it can be better as I like luxurious beds. The interior of the villa is old looking with worn doors and cupboards. Tv channel u is unclear but channel 5 is clear. So I think its not that the satellite connectivity is bad but the programming of the stations isnt well done? Didn check out the wifi as I read reviews its too slow so I have already downloaded enough movies on the laptop for a night.
Have booked the executive villa, and from the reviews that i have googled, dare not expect much from the stay. When i reached, i was surprised that the room is neat and clean. Was expecting to see bugs but happy that there were none. But ants is unavoidable. Very shiok with jacuzzi and steambath in the room. The bed is very comfortable.
Toiletries provided do not seem to be new. Looks like it was a recycled bottle or the previous occupants have left behind. But not a problem to me as i brought my own. Patio area not well maintained. Looking at the bushes nearby, it stopped me from using that area.
The environment is peaceful ,very remote..away from city life
The room is too small and not spacious for children or adults to move around in the room. Toilet doors are not conducive if you are with friends. See thru glass doors. Not very condusive for gatherings or BBQ.
The scenery, kampong like style was good.
place could be more spacious, breakfast is standard so could have varieties and make it a buffet style. could have frequent shuttle bus to get out of the place as its very in.
Walking distance to Bollywood
No farms stay feeling
I love everything about the stay here. The jacuzzi was awesome. Steam room were great. Its amazing. Since the place is far, its a bit difficult if you to find food. But thats it. Love everything about the place. So peaceful! Already planning for a second stay! (:
For those who are not close to nature and little2 dirt from plants will matter to you, then its nt the place. There are very minimal dirt. In the bathroom esp cause its open. But it doesnt matter for a girl like me.
Away from town to relax for day or two.
Uncomfortable bed and table (where cups were) has lot of ants. TV signal kind of poor for channel U.
Don't have a swimming pool. The fishing pace was poor so many fish die. the mantainance was poor. You have to check ur room so many faulty. Example door lock, fridge, toilet, kettle, & lights.
The jacuzzi n steam bath room is fantastic. Personal parking lot very unique and simply awesome.
Online selling price for my executive suite indicated 290 per night but was charged 340 upon checking in, ridiculous.. Sad to know No cable tv channels, it tarnished the entired package..
The atmosphere is nice and queit. Perfect for a staycation. The chef was very nice.
There was a dirty plate left under the bed from previous guest.
