Perfect location, at the centre of Orchard Road. Room is small. TV is very small, outdated and no kid channel at all ?!!?? Noise from the massive renovation work. Hotel lobby was too small, it was like a zoo everytime we passed by. Lots of queues to check in and out. Bed sheets and bath towels were old and torn. No information about the hotel renovation at the time of booking or check-in. We had to ask for a room move because the old room was just too small and too noisy all afternoon. The new room allocated was a bit better. |

The friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. Pearlyn who checked us in was even able to put our taxi fare on our account when we realised we had no Singapore money. She was wonderful. The presentation and quality of the meals in the Chatterbox restaurant was also great. The pool was unavailable due to the massive renovations, but these did not intrude on our stay in any other way. |

Privacy and near last minutes shopping. Roon service..Most of the time i eat room service food. Realy dissapointed with food quality and taste too. For five star hotel food, my son cook better. But for others, there are plenty around hotel.. |

Friendly and attentive staff (check-in, conceirge, room cleaning service personnel, restaurant waitresses)... Comfortable beds and quite/cool air conditioning. The hotel itself is undergoing renovation with constructions going on in the exteriors. Can hear next door's child crying/screaming at times. |

Large rooms, affordable price, and especially, it is in the center of orchard. Please make the internet service as a free one. I stayed in many hotels and most of them give free internet access. I only need to check my e-mail and news for a few minutes so its pointless to pay for an hour. |

we were not previously informed that it was under renovation and that the pool is closed! They should have advised at the reception upon checking in. Upon my inquiry, I was informed that I could use the pool at their sister hotel i.e. Marina Mandarin and they would reimburse me on the applicable taxi fare. Errr.....who is going to pay for my travel time? I would have a 30 mins swim at the pool to start the day and my daughter who had expected to spend some time at the pool was duly disappointed. |

The location was fantastic and I'm sure if everything was operating and renovations were finished it would be perfect. I found the fact that renovations were happening and that there was no outdoor area available very disappointing. |

the hotel was luxury even they have some constructions that made the reception area too small to hold all visitors. it has to be shown any emergency situation like this at website as an important note and not make the visitor to surprise with these stuff. |

The location of the hotel was ideal for the purpose of my trip.Because it was minutes away from the main shopping area and was not too far away from Gleneagles hospital. Not much only the loud noise in the afternoons.(work site) |

Excellent service from hotel personnel, promo rates, location, staff are always smiling and ready to help all guests, courteous staff.... The noise emanating from the on going renovation, poor quality of tv in room 1005 (picture somewhat distorted and no function in the remote to fix the distortion), no on-demand movies on the tv |
