the distance to the shopping center before i arrived in singapore, i have confirm via Internet booking that the room will be no smoking room, but when we arrived in the hotel, the receptionist say that no more No Smoking Room available. I very dissapointed that time, because we travelling with 2 kids (6 years & 4 years).Hopefully in the future, the hotel can really make a commitment with the guest. Thank U |

Superb location especially during the Christmas season. Walking distance from everywhere in Orchard Road. 2 mins walk from Singapore Visitor Centre (SVC) and Duck & Hippo Tour booth accross the road. 5 mins walk to Somerset MRT station. Orchard Road view from rooms were fantastic.Very convenient for our family with 2 young kids and elderly parents. Check-in was particularly slow even though we called to inform arrival at 3pm from immigration hoping to speed up. But only managed to check-into to room at 5pm. |

I think this hotel is overpriced for the service that we had. 1. they blocked all the internet access (free wifi) so we dont have the choice of using the internet access other than their expensive internet access. 2. the room wasnt clean properly. 3. the restaurant for the breakfast packed, not enough staffs and waitresses. bottomline i do not recommend this hotel other than the address and position right in the middle of orchad road n shopping mall. |

The location of the hotel is very strategic, it was in the heart of orchard road. The fact is the hotel service is not good. And please check your bill before paying... Since the hotel said it's complimentary internet.. But when you check out there will be internet charges in the bill. Just complain to the staff and they will undo the charges.. Not so worth it to stay in the club. Since the room is as small as the premier. |

It was a convenient location and the size of the room was good. I did not like the fact that my room was on a non-smoking floor but that it smelt of smoke regardless. This was very unpleasant. |

The room is gorgeous. Location is perfect for shopping and is so convenient. Being a guest for the 1st time in M.Mandarin and celebrating hen's nite for my best fren..i hd actually wrote an email to the hotel asking for a service whereby if they cld decorates the room for me. But till the day i was bound to check in..i hv yet to receive any reply frm the hotel. I was very disappointed. Even if the hotel cld not accede to my request, at least they cld have reply my email. This is a lapse in service. They are not prompt in replying to our email. |

Location & view of the hotel are excellent. It's within the shopping area in Orchard Blvd. Poor service at front desk. Room was not clean enough. I was supposed to get newspaper every morning. But last two days of my stay, I had to ask for newspaper. Less quantity of towels were supplied everyday. After repeated calling, I had to get it. |

First I have known the hotel since the first time i visit singapore and like it very much and also location is in orchard road which is convenience for us, I tried a few hotels inthe area but I like the mandarin is the best. nothing important like when they renovated earlier this year is a bit crowded the lobby hotel |

Location in Orchard which is good but since we were working late the location is not a plus point. Internet service and breakfast comes with a fee vs Royal on Scott it is free and mini bar is free too. |

The hotel is central to downtown singapore central,the service is as you would expect from a singapore run hotel......... 5 star ! I would suggest all the plumbing drains(sinks/bathsetc should have caustic added every couple of months to ensure a faster removal of water.This appears to be a problem with hotels worldwide that we have encountered. |
