Pan Pacific Orchard  

staff are really very helpful and friendly! they offer budget packages if you book way ahead... the location is perfect.. very near orchard road yet in a quiet spot where you can feel like you are in a residence (we were given a room fronting the pool side) rooms are more than adequate in size

there could be more cable channels with movies for downtime :)

The overall ambience was very good...

Well the person at the reception was focussing more on the money that had to be collected and also sounded rude in that respect... I mean if a person has made a reservation in your hotel he will definately pay you...and there is a way to ask for money specially in a hotel business, hospitality comes first...that bit was very disappointing... The answer to my next question is a NO only for that reason...

After a shaky start regarding a very very musty room they relocated us to a sweeter smelling room. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

It could very well do with a renovation as it's starting to look and feel a little dated.

Room was nice. We were checked in early which was a great relief. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Room key never worked and I had to go down on numerous occasions to change them to new. Also I believe this was the case for many others.

Good location for eating, city touring

No wifi in the room, it is only available in the Lobby area.

The facilities were there and close to orchard road

The beds were too small as we had 2 twin beds. The pool is very small small in comparison to all other hotels in orchard road. Waiting for taxi in the hotel was a total nightmare.

The location was good. The room was okay. The shower was excellent as was the pool and the spa and the gym. Most of the staff were very good. Getting a birthday cake was a nice touch and the size of the cake was perfect - I couldn't have handled a full size cake. The guys out the front - getting taxis for us etc - were excellent. Watched our bags for 4 hours after we checked out. Thanks for that.

Confusion over the name and there being another Pan Pacific. We got caught out by taxis twice because of this - once was on our first taxi ride from the airport!! Could I suggest you give guests a card to give to taxi drivers and even bus drivers. The receptionist when we checked in was a bit grumpy - ' 'Passports please' is not the nicest way to greet tired guests wanting to check in. Maybe she should consider a job at Customs! Had a problem with noisy neighbours but it got sorted.

The check in and check out is very fast and convenient.

The carpet is old and moldy in my room. Maybe it is due to the room's location is at the end of the building. so the out wall is moist in a rainy day. I suggest that the carpet may be changed.

Our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. The staff is very courteous and prompt. The location of the hotel is good. The services that came with the pacific club lounge rooms were definitely appreciable.

The breakfast was pretty boring and repetitive but the service of the staff was definitely prompt.

Door Lock Card keys never work. Always a good idea to take new keys before you take the elevator to your floor.

I come to hotel so late because my flight's delay but the receptionist is very warmly to sent to me a letter with several free service like: free drinking in two Coffee lounge at anytime during stay there, free internet in the lounge and in the room, free international buffet breakfasts..... And when I open door, I see a plate of fresh fruits are ready on the table, a little gift on the bedroom.. and the bathroom.......is excilent!!!!! I will remark with all my relationship to come this hotel when they arrive Singapore.

The service and the promptness of the staff to attend to the customer was awesome.
