Staff was helpful and friendly. I booked to hotel for 3 nights but checked out after 1 night because it was not very convenient hotel for us considering we have a baby. There was no window in the room, room was not very clean, especially bathroom was horrible. |

The hotel rooms smelled damp. And it did not match the pictures on the website. So far, it was disappointing. |

Excellent value for money and proximity to transport, CBD, entertainment district of Clarke Quay and of course Chinatown. Perfect for business travellers on a budget (cheap, with internet and very adequate buffet breakfast). My first night I was in a room directly above a very noise bar playing loud music until 3am. This room was also facing the street and the noise started early in the morning, so I recommend rooms at the back of the hotel and top floor. Make sure you request a quiet room. |

Actually form the net, the photos of the room is so antique and that's the reason I chose this hotel. The food served for breakfast is not Halal. The wood flooring is squeaky when someone walks. I booked an attic room and I get a normal room instead without the staff informing to us what's the cause of it. At least if the staff explains to us before checking in, we may have a clearer view or understanding. |

The staff are helpful and friendly when you needed help. It's a good value hotel for the rate I am paying at S$70 including breakfast but excluding the local sales tax etc. I wld think the reception staff shd always smile and greet guests walking in and out of the hotel lobby and not constantly looking at the computer. That wld create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere ;-) |

Good attempt at maintaining the old charm of the original building Filthy bathroom with constant leak. The internet is impossibly slow and if you stay at the front of the hotel, forget about sleeping much before 2am when the bars start to close down. Staff was friendly and tried their best to accomodate but in the end I had to move to another hotel |

It's cheap. It's better than a hostel. Rooms are old and stinky. Too much noise from the street, the hotel is placed right in front of a couple of night clubs always crowded at night. Buy youself earplugs. |

Very convenient location in Chinatown and right near an MRT station. Good value, very tasty local food available virtually 24 hrs. Carpets throughout are really awful and need to be replaced as they are sticky and smelly. Otherwise reasonable for orice. |

It is very well located, and a friendly place. A little more choice at breakfast would be nice, although the food was very good and I enjoyed it. |
