I really like the location of the hotel due to its proximity to MRT and other shopping areas. Also, this is one of the most economical hotel having family room during our visit. I do not like the wooden flooring of the hotel, due to the noise or squeaky sound it creates whenever we are moving around the room. I have a kid and it is quite difficult not to make any noise. |

Very friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother. A very enjoyable stay in a wonderful part of Singapore (Little India). Would not hesitate to return - or to recommend to other travellers. |

Clean room, centrally located and a special mention to Alvis who was extremely helpful in providing information and also quite prompt and helpful. The shower area in my bathroom - it was right in front of the wash basin, That was inconvenient. No plug points to charge phones. Breakfast options can be little better. The tariff was extremely high. |

The staff were friendly and extreamely helpful, we asked them a few questions about where things were and advice etc and they gave full and useful answers. We were also very impressed by their after stay service, we left a sentimental muppet rabbit in the room which they posted out to us at no cost! Would highly recommend Perak to anyone. It's a great place to see Little India from. |

Location was interesting and convenient for most areas of the city. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was compact but comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for the price and probably more than an average "continental". We were kept awake by loud singing and music which went on late - on one occasion into the small hours of the morning. |

Location in Little India was great. Lots of local colour, good food and interesting people around. Room was small but adequate. Wifi coverage was very poor. Tough to get a taxi |

The very friendly and efficient staff. Very helpful at all times The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring on foot to a large part of Singapore. Breakfast was pleasant and adequate and it was nice to have hot drinks available at all times. My second night was rather noisy due to a child in the room above running round until 2am. When next I visit I shall request an upper level room such as I had on my previous visit. One expects a certain amount of noise given the location of the hotel but the behaviour of a child like this was quite unexpected and unwelcome. |

Great location, staff very helpful. The superior rooms were not what I would call superior. On our trip out, we had to upgrade to deluxe. On our way home they upgraded us for free (very kind). Breakfast was a bit uninspiring. |

We liked the situation in the middle of Little India which gave us an insight into the colourful local life. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only a minor detail: we would have appreciated percolated coffee in the morning. |

Very welcoming staff, on arrival and throughout my stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and in a pleasant and charming dining area, reflecting the heritage of the building. I look forward to returning! |

Hotel staff are very kind and friendly with good suggestions for places to eat and drink. Location on a quiet street in bustling Little India and a leisurely six minute walk to the MRT connects to wider Singapore. |

Exceeded expectations, partly because we were upgraded to from 2 interconnecting doubles to a family suite on the top floor which gave us plenty of space and was probably quieter that rooms on lower floors (there was some late evening noise in the area). Air conditioning was good (and much needed). Breakfast was basic, but very adequate. Generally clean and very helpful staff who made us very welcome. |

Staff where very friendly and helpful, room was clean and well provided for, accessible and well located in the city if you're more interested in the varied culture Singapore has to offer. Maybe a little more selection at breakfast? Still good food on offer though!! |
