The classical style of this more then 100 year old hotel we liked a lot. Staff was very helpful and nice. The TV is old and not many TV Channels. Rates of the hotel are a bit to high. |

Il y a des hotels d'exceptions, mytiques, historiques, le Raffles en fait partie, il faut y séjourner au moins une fois pour ressentir cette ambiance unique. Les chambres ne sont pas les mieux équipées mais la dimension des pièces , le mobilier d'époque et l'odeur de bois qui s'en dégage sont atypiques. Le petit déjeuner somptueux , produits de grande qualité,. Séjourner au Raffles s'est comprendre un peu mieux l'histoire de cette partie du monde. Un petit détail , il est certainement possible de placer une tv digne de ce nom dans ce beau meuble car celle présente est vraiment d'une autre époque. |

Das Raffles hat es geschafft, sein historisches Flair zu bewahren, gleichzeitig bietet es allen modernen Komfort, den man von einem Luxushotel erwartet. Das Essen im Grill, das wir ausprobierten, ist exzeptionell. Das Raffles ist jedenfalls unvergleichbar mit den in Singapore reichlich vertretenen neueren Superhotels mit höchstem Komfort - seiner Atmosphäre kommt keines gleich. Die Aircon im Zimmer war zu kalt und nicht leicht zu regulieren; auch die Dusche war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Obwohl das Management versucht, den Zugang zu regulieren, wirken die Ströme von Sightseeing-Touristen manchmal etwas störend. |

El sentirme rodeada de un ambiente histórico, elegante, con magníficos servicios, personal atentísimo y servicial y rincones románticos- Aunque el precio puede estar en consonancia con el lugar y se paga todo lo anteriormente expuesto, es bastante alto y creo que por ello debía tenerse más flexibilidad a la hora de hacer la salida y tener en cuenta la hora del viaje del cliente haciendo ciertas concesiones. |

De wijze waarop we werden ontvangen.De groote en de gezellige koloniale sfeer van de kamer.Het uitgebreide ontbijt.De prima ligging tenopzichte van winkels en de eetgelegenheden. We vonden de high tea erg tegenvallen.De variatie en de hoeveelheid van de zoetigheden vonden wij onvoldoende.Bovendien vinden dat je bij een high tea geen warme hartige gerechten aan moet bieden. |

La qualité du personnel.L'équipement, la disposition et le comfort des suites. Le style colonial très typé de ce vieil hôtel intelligemment rénové. Le fait d'avoir éjecté les fumeurs de cigares de la Cigar room, pour les les repousser en pleine chaleur extérieure. |
