The location is in the heart of the city. Currently it's the road maintenance that's blocking the drive way to the entrance of the hotel however, you can access the other side door.

Rendezvous Grand Hotel Singapore is a comfortable, nice and safe place to stay, it is not on the downtown but easy to go everywhere by mrt, just walk three minutes to Bras Basah mrt station. The surrounding is quite, although there are roads and construction site nearby. The service of the hotel is nice and the staff there is very helpful. There is no free wifi, however, not even at the lobby, but that isn't really a big problem to me.

Location. Close to 2 MRT stations. Sadly quite hard to find an entrance to MRT with a stroller. Ok rooms. Large enough so U could have a babycot without troubble.Babycot was ok. Clean rooms. Couldn't hear any of the building of a new MRT station closeby. Don't serve Durians in the restaurant. We could'nt go there because the smell... But we did'nt have breakfast included in price. Thanks for that- good food around the corner. Expensive internet-connetion, did'nt use it.

The whole design has changed, everything is very bright and new! The quality of the breakfast buffet is good but if I compare it with our visits in 2007 and 2009, the overall quality of the buffet has decreased.

Location, friendly staff, transport services, cleanliness, comfort - of all the hotels in Singapore the Rendezvous is high on the list for value Firm beds and minor fault in plumbing 1st night - but this was rectified when staff were notified. Will not alter my intention to stay at the Rendezvous when next I stay in Singapore

Good nice hotel. Nothing outrageously positive or negative about it. In my mind, it's better to spend a little extra and stay at such a hotel than to stay at those pigeon hole rooms at those new and upcoming boutique hotels. Atleast traditional hotels like Rendezvous have a full/large bathrooms. To other travelers: Over the course of past 5 years, I've pretty much stayed in every hotel in Singapore (over 50 hotels). I can tell you this - Rendezvous is among the top of the lot. If you still have to complain about it - then it's you who is on the wrong wide - not the hotel. This is the best hotel for that price.

Its location: very close to mrt stations (Dhobi Ghaut and cc2), and eating places of various choices are within easy walking distance. Its about 20 mins' walk to Orchard Road's malls as well as the Bugis Street, from both sides of the hotel. Again, my compliments to the Concierge staff - whose quality of service has not faltered during the years that I've patronized this hotel. Kudos to the team! As mentioned in the Hotel's own survey, I pointed out that the Reception staff could have been more "receptive" to welcome back guests who have stayed there before. The recent two occasions when I stayed there, I was disappointed that this very-hospitable gesture was missing (whereas it used to exist when I first started staying there 8-9 years ago). The word "welcome" was simply missing in the short conversations/exchanges that I had with the Reception staff.

It has a nice location. The rooms were ok. The renovation was an added benefit . The pricing of the breakfast meal was excessive.

Very comfortable and well furnished room ( was upgraded to a club room - without the benefits). Another stingy Singapore hotel; No free Internet. Breakfast not included. No free newspaper. No bottled water - a sign in the bathroom confirmed "Singapore tap water is potable". It may well be, but it tastes awful. I paid the bill in full on arrival, but they still wanted to block 1000SGD on my credit card in case I used the mini-bar. The mini-bar contained just 6 cans of softdrinks/beer. I stayed just 4 nights.

The location of this hotel is the most outstanding feature. It's close to 2 mrt stations (Dhoby Ghaut and Bras Basah) and shopping areas (Orchard Road and Bugis area). The hotel is located in a fairly busy area but affords the guests the privacy they need. I appreciate this very much and I hope the hotel will keep up the feature of letting the guests have their privacy (some hotels actually knock on your door when you have a friend visiting you in your room!). I also entered this into the hotel's own survey questionnaire: that internet should be free in the hotel, or, it they have to charge, make it a minimal fee, E.G., sgd10 per 24 hours -- and not charge by the minute! There is no WiFi in this hotel so it really needs to catch up with the times -- people are walking around with iPhones and Smart- phones and having free WiFi will be an added attraction.

I enjoyed my 3 day stay at the hotel, however, I quite disliked the system on how housekeeping staff as well as other hotel staff access the room with their own key if the guest doesnt respond to the doorbell twice. It was very inconvenient, especially when you're trying to change clothes or just relax in bed. It happened twice a day during my stay. Other than that, the hotel was nice and staff were friendly.

The newly renovated room is great and has a nice city view from it. Spacious bathroom and even comes with bathtub (perhaps it was a Premier Room). Room itself was modern, clean and spacious and has a nice lounge sofa. The king size bed was too hard! The carpet could have felt cleaner under our feet. Overall, it was acceptable.

The pool is fab-it's ouside in the courtyard in centre of hotel-unfortunately, I didn't get time to use it as was only there 48 hours. Locatiopn right next to Douby Ghant and Bras Basah MRT stations. Different lines and both useful. Go to DG from airport. You pay 7% service charge and I didn't even get help with my luggage. Not good enough.

The hotel design and being freshly renovated, it looks spanking new and clean. Also, the location is very strategic, as it is so near to all the popular spots in the city ie Orchard, Chinatown, Marina Bay etc. Within a few stops from the nearest mrt at Dhoby Ghaut. It would be good to offer breakfast in the room booking.
