Located right next to the old turf club, the location is excellent if this is your destination otherwise it is in the middle of nowhere and you would be well advised to have a car. The rooms seem to be fairly recently renovated and are reasonably spacious, the surroundings are pleasantly green. The biggest problem is the management of this hotel and some of its staff. They couldn't care less about problems you may face in the rooms, in fact you can't even reach the night person as she is chatting with friends on the Hotel line (we did disturb her). We had non-functional water heater, non-flushing toilet and sink, lack of toilet paper and ripped towels, the morning duty manager was clearly annoyed that we would raise our concerns - and indeed did nothing about it through the day... Breakfast is fairly poor and the fact parking access should be payable is unjustifiable considering the location. As our numerous issues highlight there are some design flaws in the rooms too, again the management does not seem to be willing to take care of this.

It's quiet and I like someplace that is quiet. Green is also a big plus point. Slightly dated building that may require frequent maintenance.

Setting is very pleasant and tropical. Breakfast buffet is varied every day and tasty. Local eateries and bus possibilities are very convenient. We had to request change of sheets after 5 days (our stay was 10 days altogether) and also request the cleaning of the mouldy walls behind the bed and side tables. Both were done immediately.

Unique hotel, and one of the best values in Singapore.Very clean rooms, great staff. Very inconvenient for public transport / taxi. (Not close to much, and taxis can be hard to hail / call during rush hours)

Our room was the most dirty hotel room I have ever come across. Spiderwebs everywhere, mold covered walls, dirty floors with hair everywhere. The room had a terrible odour something of a mix of mildew and stale air. The staff was nice enough but the condition of the room was just bad.

If you are going with small children, then this is the best place to stay because children get lot of space outside to pla around when you are in hotel. It doesn't have any restaurent in it, everything you have to buy from outside, only breakfast is served in the morning and after that there is no food or beverages served.

We stay there for 3 days 1 night,no lift , staff not helpful at all. We need to carry our own lugagge to 2nd floor and no information at all. When we book I personally tell them after to give us the room at the corner for photo session so we chose this hotel also because is near to my friend home which is in bukit timah area. I didnt recomend this hotel , the price after tax is around 150 singapore dollar per night is not worth for the money. If the staff were helpful it will be different , infact they just dont meet our excpectation. there is dog shop or dog scholl just beside the hotel , it will be start noisy early in the morning also.

The curtain rod in the wardrobe fell down. Didn't have hot water for 2 days. Handtowel holder fell off. Handbasin was incorrectly installed so everthing slipped off. No hairdryer. Asked for early morning call and didn't get it.

I booked the hotel for one night only so there wasn't much time for exactly inspecting every little detail about it, but as far as I can tell room was clean, its equipment Sufficent, crew were definitely helping and breakfast was good. Hotel is located a little far from the City and some taxi drivers wasn't sure of it's where abouts when you would have asked them.

Leaving, I booked for 7 nights and stayed for 1, they should let the dogs and horses next door use this shithole. Everything, dark, damp, broken window, ripped bed linen, dirty towels, no wifi signal, even the coffee was rank.

The relative quiet of the location was very pleasant. 1) no windows in room (tiny sliver of glass by door doesn't count.) 2) Aircon was extremely weak and took C.2 hrs to reduce room temperature to something manageable. 3) Although the room was clean my daughter awoke to find she was absolutely covered in bites from bedbugs! This is not acceptable.
