Riverview Hotel Singapore    

The staff must be complemented for helping us in a very profesional and friendly way. Central to the town.

On ariavel the room smelt stale, the aircon did not work properly - this we reported at the front desk and the staff did the best they could. The carpets looked a bit warn. We did read the letter in the room of the planed refurbishing of the hotel. The room did not look the same as the very empresive one that we saw on the website. After all it is a 4 star hotel.

The localization, near by Clarque Quay. Rooms for smokers. People were friendly.

Without breakfast and internet included in some room rates.

Beds a bit hard but soft mattress protector supplied on request.

Location easy to walk to MRT station along the riverside. plenty of options to eat and drink at. Helpful staff

As friends were on a different floor we could not access these floors due to our card not giving us access.

Good location along the river for bars, restaurants and walking. Staff were very friendly.

Our room overlooked river but on the small side, and right next to the lifts.It was very noisy especially at night. Room also had a leaking toilet which obviously were aware about but did not fix. Much needed renovations were to take place next month. Damp smell in foyer. Breakfast at 25 sing $dollar each is a very expensive extra especially when you can eat at the cafe over the bridge for less.

Rooms are very old and dirty Staff not professional, did not even give me Tax Invoice when I paid in cash when checked out. they only provided a small piece of paper that shows the total $ spent during my stay (without any company letterhead), and a paper copy of the Booking.com reservation. makes me wonder why they do not issue a proper tax invoice?

The hotel location for access to the buses and river services were excellent. The staff were very helpful and provided good advice. The guest rooms were very comfortable

Found the Hotel located in an excellent position to walk alongside the river and visiting Chinatown

Sometimes had a free paper but Not always.

Hastle at the check in. 1. The rooms were not ready for us despite checking in at 14.30. 2. They disputed that I had already paid for the rooms and insisted on validating my credit card the full amount. Only when I was able to prove the money had already been paid did they admit it was oversite on their part! 3. Communication between staff is poor, when you contact reception, as requsted, to discuss a matter (already discussed) they know nothing about it and you have to go over it all again. 4. Noise at night from youths drinking on the bridge over the river till 2.00 am

Situation of hotel on Singapore River.

The staff were excellent and friendly. Location is great with a beautiful view of the river. The walking paths were very nice. The next time we are in Singapore we will certainly be staying at the Riverview Hotel.

The price of tea, coffee and alcohol is extremely high in relation to what I am used to.

The toilet mirror nowdays have a heated part I hve seen in Japan it does not fog up at all you could go in for it

Knocking on door and asking for laundry in the morning. No do not disturb signs to put on door.

I liked the location by the river and the proximity to so many restaurants. I also liked the view from my room.

The price of coffee in the restaurant - coffee in Singapore is too expensive.

River view room. Near good choice of restaurants along the river bank. Would use again when we are in Singapore.

Honoured our request for inter-connecting rooms, one with double bed and one with twin.

The location of the hotel is perfect on the danube of the river. You can walk via small bridge and find a dozen of nice open air cafes and restaurants. There is a stop for the river-cruise-boat whichgoes to the Marina Bay.

The offered accomodation price did not include the taxes and the breakfast.

Good location, easy to get transport.

wiFi not easily accessible, although we should have been able to get free wifi in the coffee shop neither of us were able to. Bedroom is in need of updating.
