No available slipper inside room and not available water faucet at water closet
The location was great, easy to get to main attractions.
It was so old and run down and the beds and pillows were like bricks. We didnt get any sleep at all. We had enquired about an early check in or late check out but were denied without paying a lot more money but they were quite ok with not having our room ready an hour late. We wouldnt stay again on the up side it has made all accommodation we have stayed in since seem like the fanciest places!!
The location was perfect. The rooms are big enough for couples.
we arrived around 9 am to hotel and reception gave us hotel card and said come back at 10 to charge you 35 SD unless you have to pay 75 SD and on the behind of card wrote that you can check in at 9 am if pay 35 SD when we wanted to do this she said that it is for past and now is at 10 am . The next day a lady had arrived to hotel and has same problem but reception charge here 50 SD.
Location is Good. Walking distance to wine connection bar & bistro for relaxing drink with friends. Price of Hotel is EXCELLENT and staffs are Friendly and Courteous.

Everything from the room to the staff was outstanding
It was outstanding
Dining hall's too dark, it's better to improve lighting. Too much noisy prepareing tablewares.
Close to river
No water for drinking is available
wifi signal inside room is not so good, breakfast is not good, everyday all the same, not much choice for eating
I like the quick process of the reservation.
Payment way, they charged the credit card but didn't say anything about it when I paid with cash at the check in time. No refund for the cash or cancelled the credit card charged.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is being renovated and will be great when finished, but even now a good place to stay.
Good location and price.
Comfort of bed on our second stay( too hard) and room size(small bathroom) ,layout poor, pity about the construction works around the hotel.
Service is always the key factor for a start of a comfortable stay in any hotel!
location - reasonable distance from metro station & pretty nice neighbourhood (a lot of restaurants on both river banks); comfortable room for a short stay, although with a very small bathroom
reception & dining area (the place where breakfasts were served) looking pretty old fashioned and dark
Good location at Clarke Quay. Easy to get to China Town and Orchard Road. We had 2 rooms with adjoining door - 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast ok. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Staff friendly and efficient.
We stayed previously for 5 days on the 3rd floor (pool floor) and this time on the 7th floor. Big difference in quality of the room. Seems like the lower floors have been renovated. Small beds and prison issue pillows
Only the location. The pool on the roof was decent.
Except the location, which is close to Boat Quay, there is nothing good you can say about this hotel. Check-in-they want to charge you money for any additional hour prior to official check in. They called us already at 11am on the next day to remind us about the check out deadline.Staff at Reception-extremely unfriendly, which is unusual for Asian countries. They seemed to be forced to work there. Room was not worth this money-small,smelling of cigarettes, with fungis on the bathroom doors and hair of other guests on pillows. AC very loud. Windows seemed never to be cleaned-with a green layover of unknown flora on the outside. In the corridor cleaning staff left all their equipment all day and night long. Breakfast room is dark like a cave and breakfast choice was good only till 9am. For this money you can find much cleaner options in Singapore
Generally ok Value of money
Bathroom really small
My wife and I had stayed in the RQH nearly every year since 2009 or even earlier. Even though the rooms are very small, like a motel, they were comfortable and quiet, the main points we look for in hotels.
We had phoned the RBH hotel several times prior to our booking 5-nights to check there was no renovation going on in the hotel. Both times the reception staff had said the renovation had been completed and there was no construction noise going on in the hotel. When we arrived at RQH we heard some loud banging nearby and noticed to our dismay one room away there was major renovation going on there. We mentioned to the reception you told us there no renovation going on in this hotel. The receptionist replied she didn’t know the room near to us was being renovated. We asked for another room, but she replied coldly and sarcastically, “you don’t want split rooms or rooms by the lift, we have nothing else available”. My main point here is that RQH hotel management should be honest and upfront about the renovation going on in their hotel. We saw no sign that renovation was going on nor did the reception staff tell us. I would also advise that the senior receptionist at RQH be trained in basic etiquette e.g. Thank you, and Hospitality. There is nothing wrong with customers requesting another room in a hotel. Other hotels even ring their customer when another room becomes available if the customer is not happy with the allocated room. We won’t be staying in the RQH hotel ever again after this experience. It’s even put us off ever visiting Singapore again. Australia
quiet and safe place good shower water
small restroom small bed and just one small pillow no complementary bottle of water and cupboard
no information how to get to different places.
I like this hotel
One lift operation
The hotel was neat and my room was very clean. Wifi ok, staff ok. What I found most interesting is the location and accessibility to restaurants, clarke quay central and MBS.
Sad that I paid over $300 only to end up being assignment to a room with construction work going on the upper floor. Complained to the reception and was told I would be re-allocated but if they didn't bother informing guests about construction on-going in the first place, I didn't expect any sympathy and that is exactly what happened-they never called back. Could barley sleep in the afternoons and for that, I would say, avoid this hotel. Management needs to be more sincere and let guests know what they have to put up with or better still, make alternative arrangements.
The location and the cleanliness
The hotel does not support any other essential requirements and one has to go out to fetch it. Would have been better if some food stuff is available on payment across the counter.
Comfort of privacy & convenient location to move around..
No drinks.. At point of booking it was stated that a breakfast for 2 is included.. But during check in i was told theres no complimentary breakfast.. Wifi too slow and lots of sited restricted.
Rooms a wee bit small for 2 people
