Its position in the city.
My room was small but OK but the hotel was a bit tied.
Clean. Accessible. Quiet.
Breakfast buffet has no choice. It's the same every day. Not enough pillows.
Location Bed comfort Shower Value
I did not like anything in this hotel
Quite centralised location
Super small swimming pool. Bathroom is very small.
The front desk guy
1. Room was 30cm bigger than double bed. Wall stains, peeling wall paper, broken lamps, shower only drizzled, mould throughout bathroom, terrible smell, poor lighting, no room service, not even water in fridge, no hang/draw space, hard beds, creaking in walls. Had to pay for upgraded room in which the window was literally butted up against a wall so 0 natural light ment we felt as though we were living in a cave. 2. Revolting buffet breakfast (eg cold eggs, no toast spreads, bad coffee). 3. Pool slide not working. Tiny pool the size of 2 jacuzzis. No pool towels. 4 Outside gym a bunch of old rusty and wet machines. 5. Bad and rude service even though I was always so nice.
no room service.. no real amenities.. no different from a hotel 81 budget hotel
Conveniently located close to the heart of the city and Riverside Point. Surrounded by many restaurants and bars this place is a likely stop for a dinner's paradise.
In general I get the feeling that management is neglecting this property. If some money was put into refurbishing the place to make it much more attractive, it would be a star on its own. And it is not that they don't have enough guests to afford renovations.
helpfulness of staff was outstanding
nothing worth mentioning
EVERYTHING.1...LOCATION 2.STAFF ATTITUDE 3.BREAKFIT FOR HUMAN COMSUMPTION.
Location, was quite good
Rooms are tiny, and looking extremely worn, Sink in bathroom blocked and certainly not enough room in bathroom to dry yourself.
Unfriendly staff (Connie) small room (solo traveller but I had 3 beds in a small room!)
Nothing, actually we stayed one night and walked out 2 nights before we were supposed too to check into another hotel. The place was disgusting and the staff were useless.
The location was great and the view from my room excellent had a room on the 9th floor.
First impression usually last and this one did, staff (lady) on check in couldn't smile to save herself, not helpful, she asked for payment up front, Booking.com advised it would be over the period of my stay but they have a different sign on the front desk, no exceptions. The male staff helped a little but not much better. Foyer very old and shabby dining area similar. No help to room with luggage you were left to look for your own room. Room was so small renovated but small on the 9th floor, renovations on other floors still being done, but my level the doors and carpet outside room was terrible. No wifi in room, you had to go downstairs to sit at the dining room tables and chairs, no water, coffee tea and a kettle and cups, no glasses. I was there for a week after a while the guys were social but it took time. Very overpriced for what you got.
The hotel location is good, closed to Clark Quay and MRT to access the city. It's surrounded with few 4-5 stars hotels but if you have plan to be out during a day and do not have the need to get good facilities in room, staying at Robertson with the same great location at cheaper price - why not to select! Also many good restaurants nearby and convenient stores (7-11).
Bathroom is quite small. No drinking water provided daily.
Location is OK, Safe in the room OK, Clean, Water boiler for tea/coffee OK, Hotel staff OK,
space in the room is not much, no sufficient locker/space for cloating/shirts etc. working area for compuryer to small.
Wifi, comfortable bed, walking distance to Clarke Quay
Small bathroom & small room
Location ideal. Very easy to get around
Hotel needs total refurbishment. Room very small
Rooms are clean, hotel very close to everything and cooked breakfast was good, would stay again
Staff helpful, rooms cleaned with sheets and towels changed every day. Cannot fault it. Good food with eat as much as you like breakfast.
Very hard bed not so good for oldies with aches and pains. Good Wi Fi in lobby but could not get in room even with code. Not a major problem on holiday but should be an issue if on business.
Everything about the hotel was pathetic right from staff behaviour, rooms, facilities etc. I would never recommend it to anyone.
The fact that it had hair-dryer and coffee/tea making facilities.
Toilets very small and floors were non carpeted.
Extremely friendly staff Free buffet breakfast Free wifi Good location, walking distance to Clarke Quay and a few air-con shopping centers. We had a great experience, would highly recommend this hotel. We travelled with a baby and found staff here made us feel very welcome and always willing to help. Special mention to Connie always waiting with a big smile
No microwave in room Wifi only caught at doorway of room Outdated foyer and cafeteria
The location is very good. Quiet. A good breakfast is included in the rate. Small pool and Gym at 3rd floor provides relaxation and "work out" If a cheap hotel is what you are looking for this one is to be recommended.
Decor could do with updating.
