Location, room, facilities

Breakfast quality, price, no free wi-fi

1) Location was extremely convenient for my business purposes as I did not have far to walk to get to my studio. 2) It's near the Singapore Arts Museum and Chijmes so is a nice location far enough away from the havoc of Orchard Road but just steps away from the MRT. 3) There was wifi connection, iron and boards provided. 4) Concierge was helpful and efficient.

1) I switched on Do Not Disturb before I left the room all day but when I came back at night housekeeping still went in to clean. 2) I tried to call for room service at 3pm for 20 minutes but no one answered, operator was not helpful, I was transferred to different numbers but had to give up because nobody could resolve the issue. 3) Wifi connection kept dropping out. 4) Basic essentials provided but no face towels, no slippers, no newspaper, no bathrobe.

Awful facility for the value. The bathroom had mold and the bed was hard. Very loud bar/club attached to hotel.

I thought the staff was outstanding in everyway.

Clean large rooms bath and shower helpful staff great diverse breakfast. Location in centre of city ideal for tourist and business wifi in all rooms MRT(underground) 50mtrs away

The fact I requested bedding for my children by email before arrival, and also on arrival but did not receive any until the following day when I contacted the front desk for the fourth time. The internet connection was poor, you could not access it in the evening , only early morning

Efficient, friendly and helpful staff.

Shower curtain position over bath was too close and tended to cling to you when showering. Bath-room floor did not drain efficently. Pool shower had only cold water, and no toilet nearby.

Hotel location is few meters from mrt. Room is clean and beds are comfortable. Very helpful staff even on our check out.

Bathroom tub needs a minor repair due to some tiles marking but the overall toilet/bathroom condition is good.

Very good value for money. Staff extremely helpful. Excellent location for exploring the city from. Would stay there again!

Staff were excellent providing early check in and late check out because we were traveling with an infant. Because of the great service we would definitely stay there again.

Menu in main restaurant was a bit limited.

The hospitality of the staff was immaculate.Specially their concierge guys Mr.Jaya & Mr.Ameen were exceptionally good.The only small problem was the size of Bath Tubs in the room toilets is very small specially for guys like us.On the whole great experience.

Staff were very friendly and very accommodating with our enquiries at all times. I found the room to be of a good size and quite well laid out. Storage was adequate and the bed was king size (great). Great value for money and would definitely stay there again.

The Decor was okay, but showing signs of age. Drapes were also a little old and partially covering loose wallpaper and dampness. This would not stop me from staying there. Also the shower over the bath is a struggle for older people getting out of the tub, perhaps a step stool may help. Kindest criticism.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel was well situated to see Singapore by bus. The underground station is also nearby which allows you to travel to all the places of interest. The room was clean tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay

It is in a good location and at a fair price

I booked through the Bookings.com, with the bed preference of double bed. Yet the next day I turned up at the hotel, the staff told me that the did not receive my booking even whereby I showed her my email pertaining to my booking. She gave me a room with twin book, so I asked, I requested for double bed in booking.com, the replied she gave me is there is nothing we can do, we don't receive your booking and we have to create a new booking for you, so there is no way we could give you a room with double bed.

Haunted rooms. Most of us cannot sleep well during the nights and my kids even get sick after the stay. The hotel even charged me on security deposit through credit card one day before I check in. This is unreasonable for me because they never know whether I will check in the hotel as per booking. The staff also not friendly at all.

Not much, nice pool

Dirty room and corridor, problem with drains and bath room very smelly, pool showers not cleaned. We complained about dirty room but very little was done. Hotel in general needs a make over

Nice people, good service as ever before. Some even remembered me being there before! Good contact!

The rooms are quite dated now and there is no sign of renovation. The breakfast is pretty simple too. All used to breath a bit better atmosphere, of a higher class hotel, but it needs renovation badly will it keep up that status.

Wallpaper was dirty, rooms were small. Hotel Entrance looked really cheap. But hey! This is Singapore, so what do you expect for this money ? :)
