Staff were very attentive and willing to listen The room that I was allocated (1326) had a lot of dust in it. Staff were informed who came to inspect the room and found evidence of dust build-up in light fittings, window seals, carpet rug, phone etc. They got the room cleaned but I suffered from the effects of dust.

Excellent value for money in a budget priced hotel. Everything in Singapore is a taxi ride due to the high humidity. This hotel is 5 mins taxi from Orchard Rd (sin$5). The rooms are clean and well air conditioned. They come with a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a digital safe for your valuables.

Not much, for the high price you have to pay. The room size was generous. Just about everything. It was smelly, the sheets looked like they hadn't been changed(either that, or they have been reused so many times, they are unable to be ashed properly), and the room service food was appalling.

The location was excellent. Public buses at the front door, Novena Square shopping centre and mrt within a 5 minute walk. The room was spacious and comfortable and the room amenities were well maintained by the cleaning staff (one of whom in particular, provided outstanding service). With very few exceptions, the staff were cold and unfriendly - hardly a smile or a greeting to acknowledge your presence. The Karaoke Bar 'hostesses' making up in the hotel foyer and then occupying a large part of the pool area in the evening, was also not a good impression.

easy to book the same day tours c/o Abdul - very friendly and helpful. house help engineer was very helpful with the lights, and lady in the gift shop helpful. easy to get public transportation from this hotel and near to Novena. the towels and linen are worn down, should be replaced. bed is not comfortable. carpet is so old and bad condition. bathroom especially shower and bath is in bad condition. room air condition is not working right.

After a long flight from London, so happy that we were given an early check-in. The room wasn't quite ready but we were even given a complimentary refreshment in the restaurant. Requires transport to get to other areas of interest. However, the best eating area in Singapore is only a 15 minute walk away.

Most friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in need of renovation and its room equipment requires replacement in certain cases - iron, minbar fridge. Also better cleaning of shower area. No proper bar! What passes for bar had ladies hanging round, female maitre d' and female singer - not a comfortable place to bring my wife!

Service was quite poor. Staff at check out desk was busy with her work and did not take notice of us till we stood for a while. Breakfast room too small and when we went in, it was full. However, the staff did not bother to help until we ask them to.

Ample free private parking space, although, not covered. Rooms were fairly spacious and was upgraded to a family room, with one queen bed and a single bed, free-of-charge when I wanted to pay for an extra bed for my 14-year old daughter. The location is quite central and near to Orchard Road which is about 5-10 minutes away by car. Nice quiet area. Would stay there again if I drove to Singapore with my family. Although parking was free, we had to use our cash card to enter and apply for a complimentary parking ticket every time we needed to exit. Hotel staff was not sure how this worked and only some knew. Area around parking lot quite dirty and unkempt. Should make sure more presentable with trash not publicly exposed.

Located outside Business District, shopping and mrt within walking distance. Staff at the Reception counter are not professional, when request for receipt, was told to get it from booking.com since the booking was thru them. Room not very clean, house keeping forget to supply toiletries.

They had a vacancy when no other hotels in the area did. The cost of the room did not match the room quality and the location is about 35 minutes from the airport.

Size and facilities in the room ... great to have a place to work and relax and not just for sleep and shower ... also a nicely designed room. Location of the hotel is a BIG plus. Problems with check-in .... delayed because of computer downtime ... but not too inconvenient ... staff worked well at dealing with the situation. Breakfasts are excellent but over priced ... would have been a nice touch if included in the room price. The biggest downside of the hotel ... especially when on a business stopover ... cost of internet ... would appreciate it being included with other utilities ... hotel does not charge separately for water and electricity .... and the internet is just another utility service. Compromise might be free wifi in the lobby/restaurant area Difficult to get taxis outside the hotel ... same problem at previous stays at this hotel. I've stayed at this hotel previously and will probably do so again providing the price is right.

one of the worst hotel in Singapore where I had stayed. Specially rooms are very dirty and smelling , bathroom is very small in area and behavior of the staffs is not up to the mark.Absolutely not a good hotel in this budget to stay.
