Fragrance Hotel-Ruby  

After checking in,the room that I was supposed to stay in was not made up,so went down to reception and was given the next room only to realize the window won't close,so had to go down to reception again. The room was filthy,i mean I could see hair on the floor from previous guests !! Ac,let's not even go there. It's not like I have not stayed in the area before,i knew very well that most hotels in this area rent out rooms by the hour,but this specific hotel was the ultimate brothel. I could go on and on,but to cut a long story short,and this coming from somebody who travels few times a year,keep as far as you can from this 'so known hotel' .... ! In this neighborhood you are better off staying in the 81 chain of hotels ...!!

Dusty room and bathroom not suitable for family with kids

Water was hot.

The bedding was not replaced (the bed was made up with the same bedding as day before and internet service was a scam. Rooms are very smalll but not very clean.

The only good thing that I can say about this hotel was the location. Walk from MRT was only 10minutes and it was easy to find food (local hawker foods)

Room cleanliness was poor. Feel like staying in a budget motel.

Price is not too bad.

No service at all, no fridge, no curtain on bathroom, very tiny bathroom and room, smell is bad, mold everywhere. The room is not clean, at least by my standards. Not close but not far from Train Station (Aljunied). Right in the middle of the Red Light District.

It is a cleaned, budgeted and efficient personnel hotel ever found in Singapore. Foods at front door and with variety with local price. In overall, it is not -any-words-to-say hotel but excellent with rate. I shall go surely back there again when opportunity permits. Manosh Bangkok

I found the area behind hotel where usable for parking has not been swept , spreading of garbage, cigarette buts, stain of pigeons dung should be more taken care of.

Good Hotel as a Budget Hotel with good local eating restaurants.

Price as it is probably the cheapest compared to other hotels in sg.

In the red light district, therefore lots of people using rooms for the hour etc...

Thi may not be a Fragrance fault but I was unhpy that my booking confirme dthrough booking.com had not been registered at the Hotel when I arrived late at night!

Helpful staff and very near mrt station.Easy to find eating place.Price is cheap for budget traveller.

Room is quite small and there are a lot of hooker along the street even as early as 7am when we check out.

Value for money. Even though its in the red light area, you dont feel it.Little bit noisy at night only on weekends. 10 min walk to the mrt was a plus. 5 min walk to the Bus stops. Lots of resturants around which are open 24 hours (only if you like south east asian food).

No porter to carry your luggage to your room. Every service you ask from the reception, you have to give deposit first like for safe, electric switch adaptor etc. Rooms tooo small for families. These rooms are best be taken by solo traveller. The windows cannot be opened for fresh air and the ac was right above the bed, so my son and I got flu. I asked the receptionist to move the bed to the other side of the room which he refused and I did it myself. After 4 days of staying I went to the emergency ward of the hospital due to flu and very high fever, (thanks to the ac and window) and paid 100 s$ and my whole trip was down the drain. Would never recommend this hotel to any 1. If you dont have enough money, just sleep on the street and that yould be better than ruby.
