I choose to stay at Fragrance Hotel-Ruby as it is the cheapest comparing to other hotel. The location is on the red district light where as u can find out quite lots of prostitute over there, in the other words u are able to know Singapore's culture over there. It's quite fun and interesting for me comparing stay in city. 10 minutes walk to the mrt, bus stop is just 3 minutes walk. The roti canai stall that located in front of the same street of the hotel taste excellent!=) overall it is ok! Value of money. The room comes with window, the bathroom although small it still acceptable. The only thing I satisfy the most is they provide hairdryer as I have a long and thick hair, most of the budget hotel did not provide a hairdryer. Be caution that this hotel exclude 7% of tax, other hotels might exclude 7% of gov tax and another 10.70% of service tax so comparing to other hotels the amount that offer has already include 10.70% of service tax.

The receptionist was not friendly, but u can just ignore her. The first night when I reach the hotel, they actually provide me a room with 2 single beds which is totally different from my request of 1 double bed. It was a trip with my boyfriend, so it's a bit weird that we slept separately. I called them and request to change a double bed room, at first they ignore me and said there were no more double bed rooms and just leave me there. I waited quite a long time but no respond, lastly I request to cancel my booking and move to other hotel then they just arrange one for me. So I am just wondering how come lastly they can find a double room for me since at first they said was that full??

Price is not too bad.

No service at all, no fridge, no curtain on bathroom, very tiny bathroom and room, smell is bad, mold everywhere. The room is not clean, at least by my standards. Not close but not far from Train Station (Aljunied). Right in the middle of the Red Light District.

It is a cleaned, budgeted and efficient personnel hotel ever found in Singapore. Foods at front door and with variety with local price. In overall, it is not -any-words-to-say hotel but excellent with rate. I shall go surely back there again when opportunity permits. Manosh Bangkok

I found the area behind hotel where usable for parking has not been swept , spreading of garbage, cigarette buts, stain of pigeons dung should be more taken care of.

The room was a dirty and smelly.

Just had a stop-over for one night. Hotel was basic but clean and comfortable.

Staff were a bit off-hand when I arrived but provided adequate service. A bit far from the city centre but this didn't matter as I was only there for one night anyway. Good bus service into the centre.

Price as it is probably the cheapest compared to other hotels in sg.

In the red light district, therefore lots of people using rooms for the hour etc...

Thi may not be a Fragrance fault but I was unhpy that my booking confirme dthrough booking.com had not been registered at the Hotel when I arrived late at night!

Prefer Shower than Bath Tub, No place to hang the clothes.

Helpful staff and very near mrt station.Easy to find eating place.Price is cheap for budget traveller.

Room is quite small and there are a lot of hooker along the street even as early as 7am when we check out.

Location is good, near MRT. Surrounding area is lively (red light district).

I can not open the window. Booked twin room, but only double available.

Not far from MRT, clean rooms but a bit old. I would recommend this hotel for staying overnight in Singapore
