location was brilliant, staff were welcoming and helpful, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a hotel, the family room (for 1 adult, 1 teenager) was perfect for size and privacy
the breakfast room was very busy and the selection a bit limited, the coffee was pretty unpalateable
Staff where very helpfull
Cat outside kept us awake
Easy access to city centre and other places of interest with 2 MRT stations within easy walking distance. Also very easy to get to airport by MRT at a cost of around £4.50. Very friendly and helpful staff with good command of the English language.Excellent Wi Fi, easy to access and never failed during my stay.Breakfast included in the. Room small, but clean with good shower and balcony with good view over the street. Hotel really close to Little India and Arab Street,so multi cultural aspect added to the interest of the area. Too busy to use swimming pool, but it was open every day until quite late.
Slightly limited choice of breakfast and not too much storage space in room.
The open free pool on the roof.
The pool closed at 9pm - too early if I returned late.
The location, walking distance to diff. malls... Front desk staff were very nice... Family room given to us is big enough to accommodate 4 adults...
Not that we didn't like... it's I think needs a bit of improvement.... the buffet breakfast..
Staff service was very bad and wi internet connection was very poor in the room and very less option was available for vegetarian people in the morning breakfast
Location near MRT BUGIS and Bus Stop Wifi is good Complete service. Breakfast provided, Water kettle for tea and coffee making is also provided. Ensuite bathroom and toilettries provided.
It will be wonderful if the staff could help me to bring my suitcase up the stairs to my room first time arriving
This hotel is in a great location to walk to attractions, catch the bus and close to the MTR as well. Clean, comfortable room and great breakfast too.
Free and fast internet wifi speed
Too limited place to sit while having breakfast
It is budget hotel. It is quite clean and offers the basic necessities . I would recommend this hotel for short stays. It is also conveniently located. Good Service. Offers breakfast as well. Good value for money.
Insufficient space - pretty small. I stayed alone and chose a single person room and found it quite crammed but it was ok for a night.
The place despite being a 3 star Hotel offers a decent Breakfast buffet and I just loved the location.
The AC in our room wasnt working properly and it didnt help that our room 411 was on the top floor and the sun all day made the room really warm. Despite repeated complaints for 3 consecutive days nothing improved. Eventually I just stopped complaining and let the AC on even when we went out of the Hotel just to keep the room temperature at an acceptable level.
location is great, 7-8mins walking to bugis MRT station, friendly and helpful staffs.
noise from the streets woke us up everyday , even during the midnights.
Free breakfast Luggage Storage Swimming pool Quiet room despite being close to a busy road
No hot shower
Low Price Location near MRT Free Wifi Decent Breakfast Swimmng Pool Large Bed
Small Bathroom Small Room Could have better Tv options or allow USB connections No Variety for Breakfast (Same daily)
The pool is very nice
No Restaurant, despite what it says on the website. Extremely Noisy at night from the major road next to it. Very Basic breakfast, Unhelpful staff
The location is pretty good as it is only 5 min walking distance from bugis MRT Station. There are a few nice cafes around such as symmetry and artistry.
The room was bad as we can hear voice came from the next door and walking sounds from the corridor.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and I got very prompt responses to my queries prior to arriving about whether I could check in early. Ultimately I was allowed to check in three hours early. The location, while not ultra-central is in the very interesting Arab Street area, and in any case it is a reasonably modest walk to Singapore's excellent underground system.
Probably brought it on myself by asking for the early check in! I was told by reception that if I didn't like the room I could change it - but only after the first night. I didn't like it, but didn't bother changing as I was only there for two nights. Really tiny room. No window. My feet, which are 1.76 metres (5 foot 9 and a half in old money) from the top of my head were dangling off the edge of the bed. The pillow was really uncomfortable. The toilet, which I suspect had originally been a public toilet for the disabled, was just plain weird. I suspect it was the worst room (104) in the house - and that's why it was available for early check-in. Liked the hotel itself, but if the room's no good, you can't recommend a place. It was actually very poor value for money, even in Singapore.
Metro line to the airport Good conditioning
Bad breakfasts with small choice of things Bathroom was well equipped
shower aircon quiet location staff friendly
room was small not entirely clean
1. Room is good enough. AC working well. Free wifi. Delicious breakfast (not bread only, but also fried rice, chicken roasted....etc), and the swimming pool, I like the massage water... 2. Staff very helpful. But I dont like the kitchen staff. They serve with no smile. At all. 3. The location, near bugis station and bus stop. 4. The price is still ok, coz we got everything we need.
The kitchen staff serve with no smile.
Long walk from train station
I stayed for the 2014 Singapore GP during a time when you expect prices to inflate, but I got this hotel for a fraction of the price of the grand prix tickets. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Bugis MRT Station and about 15 mins from Raffles, Marina etc. Very central location. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 5 mins walk from the hotel and a 7 Eleven just round the corner. The pool area is small but great for a late afternoon dip to cool off. Great views of the skyline at night. I stayed in a Deluxe Twin which was small but adequate for me and my friend. The room has a TV which shows both local and British channels, WiFi, tea/coffee facilities and importantly aircon which if asked, can create near freezer like conditions. The staff were very friendly and professional.
My only real complaints would be the breakfast, which was very basic and the fact that if you stay in 'C Block' - the adjacent hotel building which sounds like a prison, the rooms are very dark as they have shutters instead of windows. If you can, get a room with a balcony in the main building. This is a small complaint compared to the great price, service and location of this friendly hotel.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, though mostly Asian. Location was fairly central. Bathroom was a good size.
No window in room. Bedroom itself was quite small. Room noisy in the morning. Good for a nights stay between flights but would not want to stay longer.
