Siloso Beach Resort, Sentosa  

sentosa beach resort ist ein touristenort, beach mit der kulisse von 100 frachtern, tankern und conteinerriesen, dahinter raffinerien, zum glück hatte das hotek einen wundervollen pool in tropischem urwald mit wasserfall etc, die architektur ist absolute klasse, wie im regenwald eingewachsen und versteckt, schwierig zu fotographieren, gratis transport mit bussen und monorail den ganzen tag durch verfügbar

etwas viel ramba-zamba, laute musik und fast ein wenig disney-world

I liked not being in the city as Sentosa is an island which has room for a well laid out resort like this one. It has a great pool surrounded by trees giving you a jungle feel and its peaceful. A real tropical look and feel about it. A two storey waterfall at one end looks great. Sentosa island is a purely tourist island which is fully developed with attractions so stepping into this resort is the best part of the day after the hectic stuff. Taxis are so cheap in Singapore so it doesnt matter to be out of the city.The public transport is there as well. Free monorail to the mainland then the metro from there. A great view from the rooftop garden looking over the water at the 30 or 40 ships anchored waiting there turn to dock. The garden is fully roofed so take up a couple of beers and sit there, watch and relax out of the sun.

Its the only hotel in my Dubai/ Europe/ Singapore trip that quoted me a price for 4 nights but come time to pay, added on service charges and gst which took me by surprise. It was another fifth of what I was originally quoted. So be it but that didnt happen at any other hotel I had stayed at. Otherwise all was well. A pool bar would have been nice also.

Ill make it short and simple. Amazing view, romantic place for a honeymoon and great service- quick and efficient. Breakfast was not bad.

Excellent location, good food, good ambiance, close to nature,

Poor room service, water fountains area in the gallery were not maintained properly. There were problem with fridge. Few tv channels with poor signals. Bare minimum items in bathroom. Washbasin was not clean properly. Small lizards in the room.

1. Location is between ends of the road at that part of the island. Either way, it's a walking distance making my journey easier with my infant son. 2.the transportation is ample and quite frequent. It is free/no-cost too. If i want to do shopping with my family, within 15 minutes after leaving Siloso B.R i am already at Vivo. If i want space and peace, i am back in Sentosa. You can achieve this by staying at Siloso Beach resort. 3.Nice view and experience with the pool. The architecture, design and application of the resort I think are the main features for guests to feel like in an eco-resort. i think this is good.

1.Room rate was quite overpriced. 2.Room is quite damped. 3.The breakfast selections are limited to few varieties, and almost stayed that way throughout my stay of 5 nights. 4.Persons answering the phone when you dial "0" mostly lack of friendliness in their tone.

The hotel is so lovely and the location as well, big swimming pool, nice breakfast services, near to universal studio and full of nature, best choice for short vacation.

The room was too small

Silosa was situated right across the road from the beach on the other side of the island from Universal Studios. Though on the other side of the island it was serviced by a road tram regularly connecting it to other beaches and the monorail. Both of these were free and frequent so it was very convenient.The monorail connected it to Singapore proper. The pool had waterslides and a waterfall-fantastic for kids. The rooms had a lovely outlook over the water.

I think a restaurant other than the breakfast restaurant would be of benefit

The hotel is really very close to the beach. Just cross the road and you are walking on sand already. We had a very nice stay. The rooms are clean and comfy. The pool inside the hotel is great as well with benches to chill on surround it and there is also a rooftop garden with an excellent view. The design of the hotel is special too. Eco-friendly and almost as if it's built out of a jungle. Nearly all rooms have sea views except for the cheapest ones on the 2/F and 3/F floors.

The corridors are a bit dark and gloomy at first sight. But once you get used to it, its alright.

The view in the hotel,seem s like in the jungle,beautifull waterfall and pool, so quiet and comfortable like in the forest, and good view from the hotels rooftop can see the beach,I also like to have breakfast with so many squirells and parrots around.The squirells are cute and friendly,my kids love to see them

this hotel really need of renovation and good management..
