Excellent location for the nearby Orchard Road shopping and for access all around the City. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Only complaint was that the breakfast was poor. We took breakfast on the first day and didn't bother for the rest of the week even though included in the price. |

Excellent value and very comfortable accommodation for our group of 5 adults and two children accommodated in two two-bedroom suites. Very helpful and efficient staff. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to strongly recommend to anyone. |

We choose Somerset Compass because we prefered an apartment to having two rooms at a hotel ( we have two children ). The price for the apartment was similar to having two rooms at a moderate hotel therefore we were happy with the price. The apartment has a kitchen and washing machine which also appealed to us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included in the price. Singapore is not that large so the location was not that important to us, we found that we could easily access all parts of the island from our hotel via taxi. Because there are a lot of permanent residents we found that this meant that the hotel and its facilities, such as the pool, was not constantly inundated with lots of people |

Somerset Compass is near to Orchard Road, it's only take 5 minutes to be there... and easy to access to another area of Singapore when I go for breakfast, the lounges is very very small...... |

the large size of the all rooms breakfast area far too small.not enough staff to keep food table stocked-often had to wait for food to be re-filled and ask for items to be re-stcoked.not enough cutlery. tables not cleaned up fast enough.lift not properly air conditioned-felt very hot.would be a problem especially if lift got stuck |

The close proximity to Orchard Road was very convenient, and having the Paragon just a few minutes walk very convenient. We had an ant problem in both bathrooms and the kitchen. |

I was recovering from an operation at Mt Elizabeth which is next door. The wheelchair access was great and staff delightful and very helpful. I did not use the facilities. |

It was close to the main shopping centres and had facilities that would appeal to families. The hotel had not recorded our reservation.'They did not have a room for us when we arrived. In the end we got a room but we were 'down-graded' rather than 'upgraded'. There were ants in the kitchen and bathroom. |
