Staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. Good location. Comfortable bed.

Decor, room was tired looking and in need of decoration. Bath leaked onto the floor via small drain in floor. Room smelt slightly. Only 1 bedside table. TV picture quality was poor until the 3rd and last day of our stay.

It has a window, and it can be opened. Breakfast was better than suggested in some reviews of this hotel.

Old hotel showing the signs of age. It has not upgraded in any way in many years, but it is not actually run down yet. Smallish room, smallest oldest tv in history.

The location of SummerView Hotel has an easy access to several area like Bugis Street, the temple and the Sim Lim Tower. Seven 11 and the bus stop is just nearby and you won't find difficulties from hopping around at this place.

What I like most about Summerview is the friendly and helpful staff, the homely and quiet atmosphere in contrast to the crowded and busy outlook of the lobby,restaurant, elevator and other common areas of most other hotels and the convenience of location and the hotel. The location is great with many shopping centres and endless food courts and restaurants in the immediate neighbourhod and mrt station in close proximity.

The outward appearnace could be improved a lot and it is important because the first impressions matter a lot.For example, the sign board was looking delapidated last time when I was there six months ago and now it looks terrible.

I was in a hurry when I booked this hotel. It was a sudden booking. Since the location and the price seems good, I booked this hotel just 1 day before. I was quite excited when I know this hotel location was a prime location. But when I checked-in, I was stunned by the un-friendliness of the front office staff. She asked for my passport, as if I had been a visitor from an isolated island. She just said "PASSPORT!" "PASSPORT!", meanwhile I greeted her and spoke to her with my very good articulated English. I was quite amazed when she gave me a metal key, instead of the Key Card. In this time?? The hotel with high floors building? Still using the metal key? that's very un-secure, isn't it? Well the rooms: The door couldn't be opened full since the alley for the door was too narrow. The furniture were very old and worn out. They need a total refurbished. The carpet real color is already un-noticeable since it was very very worn out and too old. At the first time, I was quite entertained by the new LCD tv installed on the wall, but oh no...they only have 3-4 local channels, news the whole time and no satellite channels at all. Some of the channels were even scrambled. When I was about to use the free wifi, as told in their compendium book, I was asked the password. Then I called the operator asking about it. Gosh I was waited for more than 5 minutes by the operator, just to tell me back the internet was not actually free of charge. And I have to buy voucher to use the wifi facilities. The Air con sometimes works very well especially at night, until it is freezing. But sometimes not working at all. Luckily I spent a lot of time outside the hotel. The bathroom : It was a luxurious hotel for the late 80's. Not for now. It is already outdated with further renovation. They have big toilet bowl that can't be flushed, outdated bath tube with unstable hot water supply. The circulation in the bathroom was very bad, so if you used the toilet bowl to do the No.

отель в целом не плохой, номера хотя и маленькие, но очень приятные и чистые. завтраки нам понравились, хотя и практически не меняются (яйца жаренные меняются на варенные, а так каждое утро одно и тоже), зато китайской кухни нет. всем рекомендую пользоваться станцией метро "маленькая индия". до неё идти минут 10, зато удобно ехать до популярных туристических мест, т.к. она самая ближайшая к станциям пересадки. в следующий раз, когда буду в сингапуре, остановлюсь в этом же отелю.

что касается минусов: магазинов в отеле, как пишут, кроме маленькой сувенирной лавки нет. ресторан - это маленькое кафе, которое работает утром на завтраки, днем на обеды и вечером с 18-00. все остальное время оно закрыто. аптеки также нет. хотя как таковых аптек в сингапуре нет, все лекарства только по рецепту врача. можно купить только панадол и так по мелочи (это не по отелю, это по сингапуру в целом).

离bugis地铁站稍远，要经过bencoolen和queen street才到；店内设施稍旧。
