This is a beautiful small boutique hotel. Staff were charming and helpful. Location was great for Singapore's China Town and close to all the other tourist spots only being 1/2 stops away on the mrt. The roof bar/restaurant Breeze is a must. The room was small but had a the comfort of a 4* hotel. |

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good, - close to China Town and the MRT. The hotel is cosy and beautifully decorated. We booked an executive room and were disappointed that it did not have a window. There was loud noise from a disco/bar on Thursday and Friday nights. |

Attentive staff, wonderful design, good location in the outskirts of Chinatown. The hotel is really perfect for a couple, just don't book the cheapest windowless rooms! If going for a honeymoon, I'd imagine this is one of the best bets in Singapore! As seemed to be the case everywhere in Singapore/Thailand where I stayed, the bed was rather hard, but still good enough though. |

We stayed in a premier room which ment we were in the main part of the Hotel. Our room was 202 and it was excelent. We liked the smallness of the hotel and the staff were also excellent. Some people we spoke to commented that the regular rooms were small and noisey. We did not have breakfast or eat at the hotel as we found the pricing prohibitive and there were lots of nice places around locally to eat. |

The service of the staffs are excellent. They made you really felt welcome. For smokers, it will not be a good news...as the normal rooms are non-smoking. In order to smoke, one has to book for the executive room with balcony. |

very novel concept - very well thought through too close to the road and affected by noisy Indian street gang that kept us up at night. |

It's a lovely hotel with a great location, two lovely bars and a nice vibe. If you can afford a suite, then it is brilliant. But I'm not sure it's worth the money for the other rooms. Even the Deluxe is |

The Scarlet hotel is very close to China Town, and has very nice rooms and a small intimate feel to it with lovely decoration. Our room, as many of the rooms, was facing a parking lot. Though not a problem in general, one night was particular bad with noise from trucks parking and offloading |

The Scarlet hotel is directly opposite the entrance to Chinatown in Singapore - a great location to explore a fascinating part of the city. The Scarlet is a great alternative to the giant thousand room complexes elsewhere in the city, combining classy style with a great breakfast. Because it was a public holiday, we needed to organise a small business meeting in the hotel. They had all the latest facilities in a small boardroom and the refreshments came on time and without any fuss. The staff were especially welcoming and their advice turned out to be accurate and useful. Room rates were reasonable bearing in mind the location and the comfort offered. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and overall the hotel was ideal for a city stay. The cleaners were very loud in the morning - not very relaxing when trying to rest for a few hours in the morning! |

The staff were wonderful; the interior design features are very good; and the location in Chinatown is a great cultural experience. The room was small. |

The hotel was charming and quirky, we felt pampered, the staff were welcoming in a genuine sort of way and nothing was too much trouble for them. I found the lack of window challenging. |

It was a memorable stay. The design of the furniture is unique and the room is very comfortable with soft pillows and great appeal to the eye when it comes to design. |

Great staff, good location, easy access, nice restaurant/bar on the rooftop (half-outdoors) Paper-thin walls, noisy - didn't get much sleep at all, maybe i was just unlucky, but it was bad enough that I wouldn't go back; certainly is a couples hotel |

It took 3 hours for us to check in as aircon was not working. said they were trying to save money! got an upgrade on the room eventualy. Hotel manager not avaiable at any time to speak to. Rest of staff very apologetic. never had such a bad check in experince. I was even asked if I would like to speak to the aircon repair man myself. |

Very cool design and feel. Good blend of modern amenities in plush surroundings. Balcony always a plus the room was very small and the Chinatown location felt out of the way from the main action on Clarke quay and orchard road |

Location The rooms were extremely small and even the deluxe rooms didn't all have windows. Those that did have windows had small sky lights. I had to upgrade. The hotel was generally dark and oppressive. The gym facilities were poor. It was more of a couples/honeymooners hotel rather than a business hotel. |

On arrival to the Scarlet, we were treated to a welcome that would rival royalty. My partner who knew very little of the Scarlets' wonders previously was blown away by our reception and the lavish exterior, interiors and wonderful staff. |
