When I arrived at this hotel, I was surprised to find that the interior from the lobby until the room is very nice. They also acknowledged my reservation from Booking.Com, which is good to know that the online reservation is working fine. The room is comfortable, clean, modern, new, with minimalist design. The space is not small, but also not large. It is more than enough for such price. They also provided brand new LCD TV with lots of channel. It's a nice hotel! Even though they don't provide breakfast, but it is surrounded with shop lots and good restaurants. Nothing to worry about the food.

The location is far from nearest MRT Station. When we get off from Novena MRT Station, we had to walk for long distance and cross a fly over bridge with all luggages to go to a bus station which will take you to this hotel area. But, the opposite direction, which takes you from hotel to Novena Station is simple, you only need to walk by to a bus station and arrive at the front of Novena Station in one trip. That is what happens if you take a bus, which cost only SGD 1.5. If you take a taxi, it will cost you around SGD 6.5, but comfortable. When you stay in the room, you can also hear people voices from outside of the door, the room sound insulation is poor. The bathroom also does not have bathtub.

It is really clean and very well managed. The staff was helpful and gentle. The swimming pool was not big nor luxurious but it was enough to enjoy. And also very quite. Only 4 or 5 bus stops from Orchard road. Especially the shuttle to Airport was really convenient with reasonable price. I will surely stay there again.

I just needed a place to sleep in, was not really looking for a hotel with the great facilities. It was able to serve its purpose.

I was concerned about security as it seemed easy to get into the hotel.

It was so clean, very high standard for India in that respect. had very high standard comfort too in room. beautiful pool area, staff were friendly and obliging ( as most Indian staff are!!!)

Tiny rooms, although clean. Unhelpful/rude front of house staff who tried to charge me for a phone call I didn't make. The fact that, although I had specified non-smoking rooms, the one offered to my daughters reeked of smoke and all the staff offered to do was to spray air freshener in it (we eventually insisted on another room). Quite a long way out of the city centre. Staff very unhelpful when trying to book a taxi.

I was very happy with my stay at Value Thomson Hotel. The room was spacious, with a big window, clean and above my expectations.. If I return to Singapore I would definitely go back there! Excellent value for money!

Rooms were clean and had basic facilities, e.g hot shower, tea/coffee making, beds were small but comfortable, clean towels were provided, staff were helpful when we requested for extra pillows.

Absence of cupboard was a major problem; we had to literally live out of our suitcase,

Near to 7/11. Not far from foods. Not that bad for a cheap hotel.

Hotel room is too small, especially the bathroom.. Every time I am using taxi, the driver doesn't know where is the hotel at? What I didn't like the most is hotel cleaning services.. The housing keeping was knocking at my room ard 5pm, it supposed to be a relaxing time. They didn't clean the room while I was away.

I like that it`s superbly designed. It`s clean, it has interesting facilities and the staff is very helpful.

Not really, it`s a brand new hotel and you can perceive they are making efforts to run it as best as possible. I really liked my stay there.

The Hotel is new and very clean. LCD TV is available.

The hotel room too small for 2 person. Room acoustic is no good. Sometimes can hear people talking from room beside. When people walking at the corridor, I can hear cleary people foot step and talking.

very clean though small, good value for money, convenience for buses, not too far from city

no family room or two rooms connected. my children have to stay in different floor. my room phone was not working, though I reported to the counter desk.
