Ahotel was a perfect choice for our trip to Ljubljana; nice, large and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, very clean rooms and all the premises, very helpful and kind staff, I would definetly recommend Ahotel to travelers visiting Ljubljana.

We were very happy here and the breakfast was fantastic! You could drive easily into the city or you could walk if you wish. Ljubljana is beautiful!

The (suite) rooms were very clean and spacious. Located just inside of the ring road (Ljubljana) the hotel was relatively convenient to the 'Old Town'. Further, parking was readily available at no extra cost.

Very nice hotel, very friendly personnel, nice and very clean room, excellent choice! The hotel is so close to the center and also close to higway and it is very easy to get there and around Ljubljana.

What a nice hotel! It was perfect choice! Very friendly personnel, nice, large and bright rooms with all facilities that I needed. I liked the design of the whole premises. Private parking place just in front of the hotel which is free of charge, breakfast and internet free also of charge. Very close to the center.

I liked everything actually ... and would recommend it to everybody although it is not in the old city part, but on the other hand you can reach the old city part in a few minutes.

Very friendly and polite staff at the Reception. Very nice Lobby Bar and the restaurant; clean, neat, pleasant music, good designed ... simply pleasant atmosphere in it. I liked the terrace too but it was too cold to use it.

Bed mattress too soft for me. It was a little bit too hot in the room and despite the fact it was lowered down on the controller, temperature simply didn't go down.

WE loved the location. It was quiet, country feel to the place. They even have a childrens play area with the usual equipment. The old town was 10 minutes away by car.Plenty of parking in town. The staf is very helpful, multi lingual. The night duty lady at reception even organised dinner for me from a take-away restaurant. Breakfast was good. The beds are confortable.

The restaurant only caters for pizza.

The Ahotel is a super-modern middle-class hotel, the rooms and the staff are undoubtedly A++. If you are by car, it may be one of the top choices in Ljubljana, compared to the price.

The location may be a problem, if your are on foot. An industrial road of 700m leads to the nearest bus station. At least, the schedule (line 9) is frequent, then it takes less than 10 min. to the center.

The location is close to the highway and to the city center, though it's quiet,the room is big, the terrace in the evening and in the morrning is pleasant, breakfast is good, there is a nice place for small childrens in the yard

Placed in a very quiet area of Ljubljana, but still close to the city center (5min. driving distance to Kongresny Trg. underground parking). Friendly and warm atmosfere.

During a 45' power outage in the area (late in the evening) we were unable to enter the room as the access system was not designed to work independently.

Easy access to ring road and city centre. Clean small "family" style hotel

As an English man I do like a cup of tea when I wake up, but in common with many foreign hotels this one did not have tea/coffee making facilities. This small extra would be great!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel was located in a lovely residential area, a few km from the city center. I wish I had more time to rent a bike and explore the area! Breakfast was quite good.

IF you don't have a car, it may be a bit difficult to get into Ljubljiana center.

The hotel is a long way from the sites of Verona--too far, I thought. The hotel is good for people with cars as it has good parking and the staff were very helpful in describing how to find parking in the city. Quiet and comfortable.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff, free parking and free internet

Hotel is on the periferie of Ljubljana but the price was higher than in the center.

Ahotel was one of our favourite places to stay on our 2 week trip through Slovenia and Croatia. It had very friendly staff and we enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. The beds were clean and comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing, we really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and having a cappaccino or drink. It was conveniently located just on the outskirts of Ljubljana center so we were able to visit other cities such as Venice Italy with ease of the roadways, and was very quiet and relaxing. It had Wifi throughout the hotel and offered their guests a laptop to search the internet if they wished. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ljubljana or surrounding cities. Loved staying there! Thankyou to the hospitable staff.

A good hotel if arrriving by car, in a quiet location yet easy to find from the freeway. It's only a short distance from the centre of the city. All the reception staff we met there were most plesant and helpful, they made our stay enjoyable.

Nothing interesting around the hotel. You need to travel to the center (appox. 2 km) to enjoy city life.

The hotel has modern and very clean rooms. It exactly looks like web site pictures depicted it. Stuff is kind and helpful. Good breakfast and WiFi connection. The hotel is located close to the highway but city center is just 5 min by car so its location makes easy to visit Ljubjana and the surrounding areas.

Wasn't really a problem for me but maybe the bathroom is too small. Anyway it's very clean and with fully functioning shower (not so usual on other hotel).

The hotel is very new so all the facilities are fresh. Good breakfast.

Very small room and bathroom. We are a family for 4 and booked for a triple with an extra bed and the hotel did not tell us they could not provide it - so we had a slightly uncomfortable night. However they were kind enough to give us and exra blanket and pillow so our child could share the bed with us comfortably enough. The room was very very hot! Even after switching off the heating and opening the window it was quite some time before it cooled down sufficiently ... and this is only April. Luckily it was just an overnight stop for us so we managed.

The rooms were bright, clean and comfortable with serviceable bathrooms. There was no lift in this modern hotel which had rooms on two upper floors; this might be a problem for some guests. Breakfasts were adequate, coffee from a machine, but little atmosphere in the breakfast area. There was an outside terrace too should the weather be good. The hotel was a fair way out of the centre along a quiet road next to fields on one side and views of the motorway. It was possible to walk into the centre of Ljubijana, talking upwards of three quarters of an hour. Buses were possible with the nearest bus stop being a ten minute walk away. Free car parking on site.

Although the hotel staff was helpful, information about buses was scant. For us, buses proved the best way in and out of the centre, even during the latter part of the evening. Providing a bus map and selling Urbana cards for travel would have been helpful.
