Food, location, staff kindness

I liked the whole experience- It was the best place I have ever stayed in, its a real Gem. The room was spacious, like a house, it had even a heated bathroom floor. The hosts were wonderful kind people and even when breakfast was served the eggs had a smiley face on the yolk. It is such a beautiful place and would recommend anyone to stay there from no matter your age.

Whatever it is you have everything perfectly organised and would not change a thing about your beautiful rooms, room service . a suberb job. Best I have every stayed with anywhere in the world . Well done.

The Alp is perfect in ever way, from the extremely warm welcome to the comfortable;spacious bedrooms, we loved each moment we spent there. It is a leisurely 10 minute walk to the Lake. The food was truly exceptional, Dinner was a delight and breakfast, just amazing; It is on our list of the top ten best places we have ever stayed in.

I will absolutely recommend alp to all my friends. The proximity to the lake, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, tennis court, spa retreat next door- very thing was fantastic. Wish we could've spent more time there. They also provided bikes which we took for a day's ride around the lake. Can't rate high enough.

excellent and helpull treatment by the lady who owns the place, and all her staff, in all aspects (laundry,spa, dinner, breakfast and whatever you may think about) excellent dinners, with personal touch.

we stayed at the begining of October. Heating is activated only after 3 consecutive day of temparture below 10 degrees c. Aircondition only cools. The owner was ready to supply electrical means for warming , in case of need.

Staff were so helpful and friendly, food amazing and rooms really clean and comfortable. Wonderful breakfasts and dinners

Couldn't complain about anything

The staff is very helpful, the place look very nice (all made of wood). The hotel offer free bicycle for a day, and even an umbrella if it's rainning. basically it offers one of the best value for money in the area.

The carpeting on the floors are very old and dusty. Dont wait to be the last who take a shower, because if the hotel in full capacity you may found yourself with no hot water.

Hotel offers a nice value for money stay in Bled. The breakfast was reach and tasty. You have free use of bikes to tour the village.

The room was small and the facilities are a bit outdated. We had hard time handling 2 pieces of luggage there.

Very nice and well located Pension providing also excellent traditional Slovenian four courses menu for the dinner for barely 15€ (without the drinks). Only 600m from lake/city center, bikes available for free and large parking. View on the mountain top, quiet surroundings. Hotel managers are nice and always helpful. To recommend.

The restaurant is amazing decorated and very spacious, having a wonderful terrace, but is used only for breakfast and one hour for dinner (19.00-20.00) with fix menu, being not un a la carte restaurant.

shame about the coffee and juice machines. Coffee was not great and the juice was more like squash!

Homely feel, a little outside the town but easy to walk to. excellent use of free bikes available.

Very poor air conditioning and also had to pay extra for same. i felt that air con should have been included in the price.

Everithing was ok. The room was not too big, but it was quite ok for us, and of course, it was cheaper than bigger rooms. The breakfast was good too, we could choose various food every day. The panorama was wonderful. In the morning, we colud hear the bird song. The city central is not too far from the pension, it takes maximum 10 minutes. We could rent bikes, it was included in the fee. So I can recomended this pansion for all. / Minden szép volt, teljes mértékben elégedettek vagyunk. A város központja 10 perces sétával elérhető, de akár bicajt is lehet bérelni, természetesen ez benne van az árban. A panoráma csodálatos, nagyon nyogodt kis hely. Ajánlom mindenkinek!

Our 3-night stay at Alp Pension was perfect. Friendly and helpful hosts, excellent buffet breakfast, delicious traditional Slovenian dinner. The location just outside downtown Bled was peaceful and scenic. Our family room 2 bedrooms was a great setup. And a very good value for the price. Highly recommend.

All considered

Spacious,clean, family room. Great location with peaceful surroundings. Only about a 10 minute walk to shops and the lake. 5 minute walk to summer bobsleds. Good breakfast with very friendly staff.

Easy walking distance to town, the lake, the castle, good restaurants--they even have excellent Slovenian-style dinners (we had a subtle and tasty garlic soup during our stay) in-house; extremely friendly and helpful staff; quiet restful evenings. We hope to return someday.
