Hotel Epicenter Postojna

I stayed here on two occasions a few days apart. My previous comments apply.

The hotel was easy to locate, but was in an odd location. The hotel was essentially an apartment hotel and more useful for those staying 2 or more nights - we stayed one night and were very satisfied. The restaurant was okay, the dinner menu being adequate. Breakfast was definitely 'mediocre' and let the hotel down. Also, there evidence that cleanliness in the restaurant area was poor, with dirty bowls left by the ice-cream cabinet. Cheese and ham platters were left uncovered, despite flies being around.

Poor restaurant facilities compared with the hotel. Our recommendation would be to try elsewhere for the food.

Clean room and good facilities

Kindness of the personal. The room was very clean, comfortable for all my family. The bath was very clean as well.

I was a bit surprised about the "Pets not allowed" instruction at the reception. When I had booked the room, I did it knowing that "pets are allowed" (as confirmed by "booking.com"). But despite of this incident, we were allowed to take our dog into the room. For "booking.com": next time please be more accurate regarding some information about the hotels to avoid any unpleasant surprises in the future (for both, guest and reception as well).

Location is not convenient to walking to town or bars, restaurants

no bar, no room bar

in zona industriale, cattiva prima colazione, camera di fianco non rifatta al pèomeriggio e neanche il giorno successivo
