Loved our stay in Piran - Borut was a great host, friendly, accommodating, and the breakfast (and conversation) was wonderful. We also arranged a ride to Trieste by car and Dennis got us there quickly and we also had a great conversation with him on the way. The B&B is steps from the city square by the water - couldn't have asked for a better place!
very nice interior, and even nicer garden, breakfast in the garden was wonderful!!
there's nothing negative to say, everything was perfectly fine.
I liked that it was close to the center of town. The room was comfortable, had a fan in it.
The shower did not work well, the ceiling was flaking, The younger man who checked us in was not inviting at all> It seemed everyone else that we met in Slovenia was so nice. So, he was the only one.
Spacious rooms, extremely helpful and friendly owner, great recommendations for activities from a true local, perfect location, free bikes to use for exploration, great breakfast
The host was helpful and friendly, lending us bikes, advising us where we could eat as we like fish and sorting bus times for us on our onward journey. The B&B was full when we arrived so we were given an apartment within easy walking distance at no extra cost. Breakfast was lovely.
Having to leave!
The woman who runs this B & B is adorable. After a horrible night sleep she was a beam of welcome sunshine! The breakfast was spot on and the garden is out of this world. I loved staying in Piran.
My husband and I were given a twin room when I had booked a double. I knew they were fully booked so I didn't even ask to change. My bed squeaked every time I so much as blinked. Finally at 4am I moved my mattress to the floor.
This bed and breakfast was close to everything, great to walk out the door and be at restaurants, art galleries, swim in the sea. The hosts went out of their way to help us with suggestions of where to eat, and the food they directed us to was fantastic
The owner of the B&B is very nice and ready to help The place of the B&B The breakfast in the garden
Warm and helpful brother and sister who run the B&B. Surprisingly comfortable, high quality mattress (felt like memory foam). Plentiful and decent breakfast, served in a charming garden. Good wifi, but only in reception/breakfast room (at least, it didn't reach the 2nd floor). A very short walk from the old centre, but just far enough away from the action to be peaceful. Excellent value for the location.
Shower curtain was filthy and covered in mould - needs changing urgently! (Room 8 ) Walls are thin - we heard our neighbours get up and shower at 7am and it was difficult to get back to sleep after. Wasn't a problem for one night. It's a long walk from the nearest car park, with around 100 steps. If you have heavy luggage, leave it in the car!
Good price and the owner is very friendly and let you have a great stay. We could borrow bikes to cykle around, and we got great tips on where to go.
The calm of the place The garden for breakfast
The bed and matresses not confortable. The window do not open and is opaque. Very small room under the roof
Staff, breakfast, location
Shower worn down
Price Location Charming host Good breakfast Nice garden area to gather
Beds Damp, musty smell Twin rooms very small
Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good with freshly baked on the site rolls and good meats etc. Location excellent.
Rooms are small. Some lack air conditioning, so hot nights can be uncomfortably warm.
This little B&B (with rooms on all floors) is a good spot for a stay in Piran. It´s right in the center of Piran. Staff was quite welcoming, breakfast was very rich.
The walls are so thin that we could hear everything the neighbours were doing. No Wifi in the rooms.
The owner was helpful, friendly and welcoming. My girls loved his day.
nothing worth noting
Central location, good value, lovely garden and very helpful and friendly owner.
Room was a bit small but fine for our short stay and good value
Piran is small, and the hotel is within a few minutes walk of the city center. It is also very conveniently located near one of the "beaches" of Piran, and 10 minutes walk of the compulsory Parking. The garden for breakfast is lovely.
The boss of the hotel seems to be a nice, helpful man, but the other person managing the hotel with him (his son? A staff?) is the rudest person I have ever encountered in a hotel. Never a smile, never a good morning or thank you, I was even super rude to us during check-in: we almost left immediatly. While the hotel is nice and well located, I would not recommend it because: when you spend 90 eur per night for a room, you deserve some minimum standard of politeness.
The location, The garden, the owner, the dog, the quiet nights and homely feel of the place. The service was excellent and nothing too much trouble
The receptionist dude who thinks he is a hunk and hates doing his job!
very nice garden... even nicer people! We did a mistake with the booking (we booked one night twice - in two different places) and eventhough it could have cost me the whole room in case of canceling, it was no problem for them to change it!!! one of the best services... For sure again!! Location is amazingly neary to all the places in piran.
breakfast was not the best, but for this price more than you can expect !!!
The summer kitchen where breakfast was served was beautiful and peaceful. The host was very kind and informative. Lovely and quiet and a short walk to town or swimming spots.
Nothing not to like
We love the great and comfortable accommodation. The location is very convenient and the breakfast is wonderful!! We love how the host is friendly and very funny... Love everything about Miracolo di Mare!!!
The owner of Miracolo di Mare was so friendly and accommodating! When we asked him where the nearest laundromat was, he offered to do our laundry himself! That was so unexpected and kind. Our room was very comfortable and the location is excellent. We were given the only room with a balcony since we were on our honeymoon. Breakfast was delicious and the courtyard where you have it is beautiful. We would highly recommend Miracolo di Mare to other couples and honeymooners.
We had a small problem with the toilet in our ensuite - it made a loud noise like a siren after the tank would refill. Something to do with air in the pipes or tank. Fortunately we figured out that if you hit the tank, the air bubbles move and the noise stops. When we spoke to the owner about it, he said to only use the half flush, not the full flush. We didn't have the problem again after that :)
Parking costs 17 EUR and it is 500meters away
