Hotel Bau  

The hotel was clean, the rooms large and the beds good.

Hotel Bau, unfortunately, is not close either to the center of Maribor (a very boring town itself) or the ski hills. It's at the corner of highway and highway, a terrible location. When we were there in early August, we were the only guests in the hotel - yet the staff shut down breakfast at 9:30 the next morning. We arrived downstairs at 9:45 and were told they had waited for us as long as they could, even though we were the only people in the hotel. We were charged an exorbitant rate for a couple of expressos - no food was available. The night before, we paid 5 Euros each for a couple of grappas. All in all, a terrible hotel, the worst we stayed in during a month in Europe.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was fantastic and the room was clean and spacious.

Our stay at the Hotel Bau was a transit stopover. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and just what we needed. The breakfast, which was included was very nice. The Hotel is a short distance from the centre but close to the skiing. We will return for a skiing holiday and stay again.

We would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Fluent in English and we were allowed to Check-in early, which was wonderful. Rooms are big and very clean. Internet Connection was free and pretty fast for a Hotel.

15 € for using the Spa in the Hotel is ridiculous. I travel a lot and have never experienced such a surcharge.

We can not say enough good things about Hotel Bau. The room was perfect - clean, spacious, with a comfortable bed and internet. Breakfast was simple/traditional, but also very good. The owners were absolutely wonderful, recommending a great place for dinner, offering suggestions for other activities, and were so friendly. Then, after arriving home, we received a note from Simona that we had left some important documents in our room. She graciously sent them to us, and would not accept anything for her cost and trouble. We were already so pleased with our stay at Hotel Bau, this was beyond what we could have expected. We sincerely hope to return to Maribor and stay here again.

Very friendly people! Very good breakfast ! Quiet location, so no problems at all to sleep, good bed. The shower was extremely relaxing. Definately a hotel to return

Als je geen auto hebt ben je aangewezen op het openbaar vervoer om het centrum te bereiken,te voet is het toch vlug 40 min.
