Best Western Premier Hotel Slon  

Hotel is in a good location. Not cheap. Avoid the hotel during the summer because airconditioning does not work. Hotel staff was making fun of us when we were coplaining. Location is great, breakfast is good. For us: never again at this hotel!

The hotel was not well maintained. Had problems with my bath tube draining facility - Hotel is old and needs to an uplift. Staff in gerneral were not so friendly, bias towards business travellers

Room size and level of comfort was absolutely brilliant. Valet parking is extraordinarily convenient if one is visiting Slovenia by car. Staff are very polite , friendly and do their jobs most professionally. All, excepting chambermaids, are multiligual English ,German and Italian which is impressive.

The topping up of complimentary capsules for self-service coffee making in the rooms was somewhat erratic (2 days out of the 5 we stayed) . The chamber maids were apparently not responsible for that task. This is not a complaint but it is to be suggested that management control this responsibility more closely.

Excellent breakfast. Huge choice. Very good location.

Wi-Fi unreliable, you need a cable (to connect to tv router - you get high speed internet). Tv channels freeze often and go back to "menu" section.

The economy single room is really small. The hotel has very nice rooms and I recommend this hotel very much, but I don’t recommend the economy single room, particularly for women.

the room prices are always stable, whereas other hotels in LJ keep changing their prices. Good breakfasts.

In our group was one child. We realized that there is limited space for coach in elevator, but we managed somehow. Size of the room was accurate accurate to be called Comfort double room.

Absolute very good hotel! Perfect location in the middle of the city-centre. Big cosy rooms with everything that you need. Nice sauna!

The staff's customer service was 100x better than my first staying there in 2004. Hotel Slon is centrally located to the city center's shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.
