Excellent helpful staff. Modern hotel.

Limited facilities and some distance from the city centre

We are lucky to have chosen Birokrat Hotel for our three-week stay in Ljubljana. Very spacious rooms and apartments well equipped with all modern facilities. Very professional and hard-working manager of the hotel who does his best to satisfy the needs of the guests. We've stayed in many places in Europe and can say that Birokrat hotel meets the highest standards of the best hotels in European capital cities. The rooms are air-conditioned and you can regulate the temperature, when it is cold outside you can maintain a very warm temperature in the room. Beds are comfortable, blankets are warm, kitchen is well-equipped. The hotel offers breakfast (very tasty and varied, and also gluten-free on request) service of a porter, cleaning every day, elevator/lift, and a special taxi service at a reduced price. The staff is very friendly and nice, ready to help and speak good English. One of us is an old lady who couldn't get down to the breakfast room each day, so we asked for the breakfast to be served in the room. The hotel usually charges 5 eur for this service, but as a special treat we were offered this for free. We also had free and fast Wifi in the room. It is a perfect place to stay for everyone - business travelers, families with children, mature people. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay in Ljubljana thanks to the hotel staff!

They have good breakfast and perfect cake as offer for breakfast, they care about clients - there is possibility to choose between small and big pillow, good and safe parking place, big comfortable rooms, city center easy to reach...

there is no "nature" around

Huge room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Quiet hotel - couldn't hear people in the next room. Tasteful furnishings. Lovely fresh breakfast. Free WiFi in my room. Plenty of towels.

No complimentary hot drinks even though there was a kettle and cups in the room.

Excellent value and the staff were all very helpful. We got a good rate and getting to and from the centre by bus was quite easy. The buffet continental breakfast was excellent and constantly being replenished.

Very minor points - The room was very warm at night and I really should have asked someone to attend to this so that's down to me. Also it would make more sense when issuing the Urbana bus card at reception to charge the initial 2 euros at the start. Then it can just be refunded when guests return the card during check-out.

Good location when travelling with a car.

The bed was really unconfortable.Coffee an orange juice served for the breakfast was just terrible.

The staff were very friendly and keen to help. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel was located just outside of the centre, but there was a bus stop pretty much just outside the hotel. The breakfasts were amazing!

The Birokrat was in a convenient location just a 15 minute bus ride to the city center. We were very please with the quality of the room which was modern and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations and directions. They also went out of their way to mail a library book and glasses that we left in the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The facilities were very good, very big room and very big leaving room combined with the kitvhen. Only 5/10 min away form the city center with a taxi , which cost just 5 euros! Also very big and big breakfast.

We didn't really like the atmosphere in the hotel bar.

Helpful and very friendly staff, convenient location, private parking, clean and comfort rooms... This was our fourth stay and we will certainly be back!

Perfect location, near the high way. Very nice rooms, for business purposes it's perfect. Free parking! Much better option than the Austria Trend which is very nearby. Also the gym across the street is a very nice service.

The hotel is cosy, clean and car parking is a plus.

The room was a bit noisy because its windows were on the main street side.
