Everything :) The only thing that they have to improve is to install curtains on the rooms, because you can easily wake-up with sun rays in your face.

Fun place to stay in the woods a little outside of Bled. Looked like there were biking/walking trails that connected to the town. There is a little bar area downstairs but the rooms are on the 2nd/3rd floors and are pretty quiet. It was cozy :) You could get a breakfast buffet for 7euro which seemed a little much. The bathroom was in a strange arrangement - the shower was awkwardly placed in the middle and it was difficult to walk around to reach the toilet, but everything else was fine.

A lovely place to stay - don't let the word budget put you off. Just a few minutes drive from Bled it is close to the main road but set in woodland so a very country feel about it. The room had ample storage space, a huge bed and a huge balcony. The outside bar and grill were not open due to it being early in the season and pouring with rain but I should image that this would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal and a drink on a summer's evening. Instead we were glad of the warm, welcolming log fire in the foyer and the wi-fi facilities and computer in our room. Breakfast is extra and we did not partake but it was set out in a beautiful upstairs dining room and looked fresh and more than adequate.

The building is great, old fashioned house. However, good facilities in the room (computer with internet connection). The didn't have breakfast because it wasn't the season! What does it cost to bring few croissants, jam and some butter?!! I'll pay for that! Also, it's not a 15 minutes walk from the city center, unless by walk you mean running! it takes about half an hour depending on your speed. Generally I recommend that you rent a car, take a bike or be prepared to pay for taxi as by the time you reach to the lake for example, you have already had exhausted half of your energy. walking around the lake then will be a pain.

The smartest hotel I ever seen - design and beauty. Unforgeable rustic outlook and retro atmosphere. We plane to stay next time longer.

The grounds were pretty. Our balcony would have been fabulous had the weather not been freezing. Having a pc in the room was handy, even though we had a wifi smart phone. Wifi was good. Could not recommend this out of season. We booked it because it advertised bed and breakfast (assumed we could pay for breakfast) and a bbq, when we booked imonths ago . Neither were operating as it was out of season. We had to drive to town to find a supermarket to get our own things to make breakfast for the 3 mornings. They did priovde a kettle, toaster, tea, coffee, milk. We had to drive in the dark and cold each night to town for dinner. If you like a few wines with your meal, this makes it impossible. Hotel would probably be fine in warmer weather when all advertised facilities are available. The room was too hot to sleep. Impossible to have a shower without the bathroom floor getting very wet.

We decided to stay at a "budget hotel" to save a little money so we can spend another night in a luxury hotel located on lake Bled. In my opinion, I prefer the hotel Pibernik better. The hotel is owned by a family that lives on site. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is about 1 mile from Lake Bled so there are no views of the lake from this hotel. But that does not mean that the location is bad. The hotel is nestled in a very quiet and large property (with free parking) and it is perfect for relaxing. There are hammocks on the balcony for you to watch the sunset and a bar-b-queue area for you to unwind in the summer time. The hotel was very comfortable and decorated tastefully. Each room had its own computer that was free of charge. The hotel was very clean. On the map it seems as though the lake is very far away, but it is not. It is just over the hill and about a mile away. The hotel rents bicycles for day trips or you can walk. I would stay there again.

Welcomed at the door by a black cat cozying up in front of the fire. Nice big comfortable room which was much more attractive than the photos on the booking site. Located about 5 mins by car out of Bled it is an ideal quiet location if you have your own car. The area is beautiful and we saw a hedgehog wandering through the car park on one of the nights we were there. I would recommend staying here. A large family of guests were fairly noisy at night and in the morning and descended on the breakfast like a swarm of wasps which didn't leave much for others and there was no-one checking on it to refill things like bread and milk. We had difficulty finding staff when we wanted to make an enquiry and hire bikes but from the other reviews this seems to be unusual.

This is the old-fashion hotel with charming and quiet courtyard. It is nearby Bled if you travel by car (less than two minutes). Good solution if someone stays a few days in Bled because is different from all other hotels. Rooms on the second floor have no balcony. Instead, there is only roof window with little sunlight.

Beautiful location just outside the town of Bled, a peaceful location. Convenient for the World Rowing Championships . Parking in the grounds which was great as parking in Bled is very limited. The room had a small fridge and a computer which enabled internet access in the convenience of our room. Satelite T.V. with lods of channels (including bbc World). I would have liked teamaking facilities in room.Having been there I would now like to have one of the ordinary double rooms, rather than attic room as the balconies on the 1st floor room were very inviting and charming. At the time there was no alternative as the hotel ws full and we obtained the last room.

The location of this romantic, clean bigger cottage like pension is awesome, slightly off Bled, and its tourist hordes. Immersed in the woods, you are surrounded by a few guests and the beautiful nature, suitable for mainly visitors travelling by car (otherwise you need to walk for quite a bit to approach Bled). The buffet breakfast will provide fuel for most of your day, as you eat as much as you want sitting around wooden tables and bench set romantically in front of the building under trees and on green grass. Laaaaaaaajk!!!

The hotel was in a lovely setting, on its own in the countryside, about 1.5km from Lake Bled, easily accessible by cycle, walking or short drive. The rooms were nicely furnished with tv, dvd and free computer in each room and a hammock on the balcony. The gardens were excellent with more hammocks, table tennis, and free sports equipment to use such as badminton, footballs and frisbees. Outside the was a large covered bar area with a bbq and lots of wooden tables and seats for relaxing and eating. The bbq was also lit at breakfast time and guests were able to fry eggs included in breakfast. The family staff were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. On our first day we could not get a taxi and Marco, the owners son offered and gave us a ride in himself. Nothing seemed too much for Budget Hotel Pension Pibernik. I would like to come back and explore more of Lake Bled and relax here for longer next time.

Location is great! Close enough to Bled centre but far away enough that you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. Very quiet and tranquil. Very Beautiful location. The outside breakfast is lovely, with a good selection of foods. Could maybe start abit earlier than 8.... people on holiday want to make the most of thier time. The coffee was shockingly bad!

Awsome breakfasts, free table tennis, bikes to rent for just 6€/day. Spacious terraces, pc in the rooms Rooms to the forest side are incredibly dark; no possibility of ordering dinner: there were some small reconstruction works - chainsaw was going on the forest side of the hotel almost all the day

The location was beautiful! Such pretty surroundings. Lovely garden with sunchairs for relaxing & table tennis. Unfortunately the grill restaurant wasn't open while we were there, but it looked good. We had rooms in the attic that were compact, but functional. Good airconditioning. Owner upgraded my boys to a triple room at no charge so they could have separate beds. Not just free internet, each room had its own computer you could use at no charge! Breakfast was outside, buffet style with a great selection... very enjoyable. Great value for the money, would definitely stay there again! Bathrooms were very small & the shower curtains needed to extend all the wall to the wall... was impossible not to get water on the floor! Hotel would only take cash as their credit card system was not set up. As the price was so reasonable this wasn't really a problem.

“Excellent and economical hotel in Bled. About 100 yards from the city center. Room was excellent, breakfast was included and was very good. Not sure about prices in summer, but for winter I got a really cheap deal. Worth the money.” Abhijit, Jersey City |
