There is a taxi booth right in front of the hotel entrance, and the waiting drivers are very noisy, from early morning to late night. Even on the fourth floor, through closed windows we could hear their talk and the idling diesel engines, left run for the sake of A/C.
Although the garage is very convenient, it is expensive. Understandable, considering the central location of the hotel and the price of nearby street parking, but still high, compared to similar hotels in other European capitals.
Receptionists do their work properly, but no smile, and not too kind either.
We chose this hotel to stop by Ljubljana on our way to Italy. Great location, few minutes walk from city centre. Easy to approach by car, straightforward back and forth from the highway, with only a couple of turns. Garage located right under the hotel, direct access to hotel elevators.
We arrived around noon, and as our room was only ready from 2pm, we went to the restaurant on the ground floor for lunch. They offered a selection of three course daily menus, and the meals were very nice, at a price of a pizza in town, plus our waiter was very kind. Beverages were also reasonable priced.
Room is all there except for a minibar, really not too much to write about, worth the money, and the free wifi comes handy, when looking for local attractions and directions.
