Hotel Emonec  

The Hotel Emonec is perfectly located just inside the pedestrian-zone, a few steps from the Triple Bridge and many outdoor cafes and restaurants. The staff are excellent. The rooms while small have everything needed. An excellent laundry facility is especially appreciated by travelers.

The bathroom gets flooded everytime..regardless how careful we shower. Super unfriendly bathroom with ammonia smell! The Bed was terrible. U can feel the bedspring when resting. Lastly, there was no air condition in the hotel(2 stars rating) .We went during spring.The weather was pretty cooling. Imagine staying there during summer!!!

Great location as smack bang in the middle of the old town area, by the Triple Bridge; can walk to anything. Room was basic but fine for our needs & was clean & tidy. We only stayed here one night, but were very impressed with the chap at Reception as we were leaving about 6am (before breakfast) the next day, so he arranged for lunch packs to be made up & waiting for us as we checked out - fantastic! We didn't use it but they have as self service laundry which is very rare for a hotel .....& we would have used it except we'd done our laundry the day before! Plus they offer family/group sized units.

Nothing - only an overnight stay, but the shower is quirky! The shower head is mounted very low so you can't stand under it, unless you hunch down...

centrally located and distance to train station and bus station are not far less than 10minutes walk.i travelled to maribor,postojna,koper,zagreb...etc. looking forward to organise another holiday....and stay in this hotel.

The location

Really expensive for a 2** Hotel. No shower towels! No gel/shampoo, nothing. Breakfast was horrible, coffee from coffe maschine, disgusting! (And we had paid 65 €)

Located near the historic center square, friendly staff, and nice, convenient buffet breakfast.

Wireless in my room was not working almost at all, breakfast was not good, no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, only one small towel per person available

Hotel is in a great location in the city center. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty.Rooms are large. There are free wifi. In one word great value for money.Best hotel with two stars.

Very clean and good looking room (basic but we didn't need more). The breakfast is good. The location can't be better: on the center of the center!

We could not have a better location and loved our visit. Most friendly and helpful staff at reception. Advice: ask the hotel to arrange a taxi, as it is much cheaper.

The location was great. In the heart of the Old Town.

Initially the hotel was listed as a three star hotel when in fact it was a two star hotel. There is limited parking due to city ordinance. You cannot come into the plaza or go out of the plaza in order to get to the hotel anytime after 9:00 am. You must find parking in the city garage and then lug your baggage to the hotel. There is no exception after 9:00 am and we had a horrible experience arriving on New Years Eve after 5:00 pm. The breakfast was that of an institution. The offerings were very poor for the money in my opinion. I think this would be a Backpackers delight, but for a vacationing family, I would rather spend the type of money at a nice hotel and not a made to be hostile/hotel.
