This place is pretty professionally run for a hostel, and is mostly clean and secure. They put on nice events, like live terra folk (free) and a crepes night (€3). The rate includes a small continental breakfast buffet. Only a few minutes walk from the train station. Recommended for people used to the hostel experience, not those looking for a hotel. The bathroom smelled awful. The laundry was broken. The free wi-fi works in the common room only, and they dish it out in 2-hour increments. Not particularly close to old town or anything useful. |

The rooms are the original prison cells that have been made over by artists, and each room is unique. Also, there were lots of fun activities like music and crepe night. |

Very fun to stay in a former prison. Staff was very helpful. It is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and about 10 minutes to walk to the town center so the location is convenient. |

The hostel was bright, clean, and good value for money, as well as being an interesting place to stay. The staff were efficient and helpful. The breakfasts could be improved with a little imagination. |

Clear rules, a nice unique atmosphere, flexibility and a "wild" side on most things The enforcement of the rules is not taking place such as non-smoking and the room was not cleared from broken glass |

Great location, friendly staff that were very helpfull.. The room which i requested was not the one they gave me..I was travelling with my partner & ended up in two bunk beds very close to the ceiling...I did however ask to move rooms but all i got was that we are fully booked out..... |

The hostel is within walking distance from the train station and the city centre. The room was quite small, but clean and comfortable, and there are several common areas with pleasant environment. Great place, no doubt. |

Good location The cocktail bar downstairs the rooms is open til midnight or 1 AM (it depends of the week day), and is very difficult to sleep due the music. The bed in the "cell" rooms is located on an uncomfortable mezzanine. The breakfast is poor, at least for Italian mean of breakfast (no sweet foods or cakes are available). |

The hostel was great! Fantastic designed and very clean (even the public bathrooms was cleaned each 2 hours). The enviroment of the hostel was... Very alternative. I'll recomend it Desing not always means "the most confortable", but it was good enough |

The hostel has great facilities for its market - a very casual comfortable lounge, guest kitchen, fair breakfast, friendly staff, hot showers, quiet spots, great ambience - for 50 Euros a night for 2 it's a great place to stay. OK, I know ex-cells don't have air-conditioning, but it really was impossible to cool the cell down - even though it cooled down outside. We needed the fan on all night. You need to be able to get a through draught through the room. |

Good location, short distance to the railway station The family room had a little short beds, the window beside the door made the light from the hall shine in the room all night, and it was a party going on at night in to the early hours... |

Design of the internal spaces, graphic identity, good information provided. Enjoyed the cocktail evening. Our room had a raised platform bed, I would have preferred to be in a room with a normal bed on the floor, and it would have been good to have had the choice. The rooms were quite noisy and got very hot at night, even with the fan on. |

It may have won an award but the room we stayed in was very ill designed. The glass panels in the door & the landing lights that didn't go out shone through all night & the lack of curtains & the noise from the next doors extractor fan meant we were kept awake. The beds under the eaves made it uncomfortable. We also hadn't expected the location with graffitti & a run down feel. |

The location is great, as are the left-overs of the previous use of that building It is just too noisy - which is totally unacceptable bearing in mind that reception is open 24 hours, so the staff hear the noise and choose to let it happen. |

Cool structure, good use of space and uniqueness. Lack of information about where things were located within the hostel, or opening-closing time of restaurant, guest kitchen was not very functional. |

The experience to overnight in cell was facinating and the idea for re-use the prison is maybe new. The common area downstairs were "cool." The parking area is a little bit difficult to handle because a lots of different functions in different buildings next to hostel. |
