The Veranda restaurant with its panoramic terrace offers selected local and international a la carte dishes. The wellness centre is also available to guests who wish to relax and perhaps enjoy a light meal or a refreshing beverage.

Our chefs at the Golf restaurant are always delighted to satisfy their clientele, whatever their wishes, and the ‘healthy corner’ offers a fine range of buffet foods for your wellbeing. The Golf restaurant and the Concordia hall are also suitable for larger functions and groups, gala dinners, banquets, wedding receptions and working lunches.

Veranda Restaurant
The pleasant Veranda Restaurant pampers guests with selected dishes of local and international cuisine. The restaurant offers freshness, comfort and culinary delicacies to top it all. The wide choice of a la carte dishes offers something for everyone. Your wellbeing will also be catered for with concerts and culinary special events.

Golf Restaurant
The hotel restaurant, overlooking the lake, can accommodate up to 350 guests. Self-service breakfasts and lunches are provided. The restaurant is also suitable for other gatherings of larger parties, gala dinners and banquets, wedding receptions and working lunches.

Ziva Restaurant
Guests of the wellness centre may refresh themselves at the Živa Restaurant.
Open: from 10 am to 9 pm.

Aperitif Bar
Guests like to linger in the pleasant ambience of the Aperitif Bar, treating themselves to a selected drink, a cocktail or a snack. We also surprise them with a daily special offer of cocktails.

Bled is in the northwest of Slovenia, less than 50 km from the capital Ljubljana and 35 km from Ljubljana Airport. A mild climate, an eternally enchanting lake embraced by a necklace of majestic peaks and an idyllic island have made it a favourite destination for travellers for centuries.

Bled is famous and eternally charming for being one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. The mysterious castle brooding mightily on a sheer cliff above the lake is perfect as a viewpoint across the lake, forests and nearby Alps. Alternatively, you may wish to hire a traditional ‘pletna’ boat and be eased across the lake to the island by the powerful arms of the oarsmen. Once on the magical island, climb the 99 steps to the medieval chapel and ring the wishing bell. Lastly, you may finish off your perfect day with a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride around the lake.

The high mountains of the Julian and Karavanke Alps, the fresh air and the clean rivers and lakes are a paradise for lovers of active holidays. The possibilities are endless. You may choose from fishing, mountaineering, cycling, rafting and kayaking on alpine rivers, riding, flights of every kind, golf and many others. The Bled Golf Courses (18 and 9 holes), considered to be among the most beautiful and best maintained in this part of Europe, are only four kilometres from the hotel.

Bled is a wonderland in winter, a world of snow and ice under a blue sky. Wrap up warmly and go for a romantic stroll hand in hand, or feel the adrenaline flow as you take on the challenge of ice-skating or skiing. There are a number of ski centres in the vicinity as well as a small ski slope in the very heart of Bled itself. Pokljuka is only twenty minutes away and is a famous centre for cross-country and off-piste skiing.

The pool was amazing with waterfalls, slides and jacuzzis. Great to while away a few hours even if the weather outside is not so wonderful The food in the restaurant, with the exception of breakfast, was poor and the waiting staff were sometimes a little surly, which was a bit of a pity as everything else about the hotel was great. But there were lots of other restaurants in the vicinity to choose from so this did not pose any real problem. Rather oddly none of the restaurants we went to had a kids menu which makes it a bit difficult if you have a picky eater.	6.5

The hotel has all the facilities you need to relax and you never have to go outside if you don't want to. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The staff at the Wellness Centre were very accommodating. Very easy to find hotel location. I have already recommended Hotel Golf to several friends. One of the reasons I chose Hotel Golf over some of the others in the area was the waterfalls in the pool. They were not on the entire three days we were there. When booking I had requested a non-smoking room but did not receive and the room smelled like stale smoke.	8
