Fair choice of breakfast, proximity to Pedjama castle and Lublijana. The decor and isolation was like something out of Stephen King's 'The Shining'. I was half expecting two little ghostly boys to appear at the end of the corridor! |

It was very close to the caves we wanted to visit At 80€ per night, this hotel was grossly over priced. The building itself was in need of tlc. The interior was something left over from the 50/60s. I have stayed in many other hotels during this trip over 6 weeks and covering 8 countries. We can say that this hotel should not have charged more than 40 - 45€ per night. To charge this amount it needs a lot of work!! |

The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. An experience not to miss in the former Yugoslavia, hotel built for the comfort of the former Party elite, everything remains from the large halls to th rooms themselves include austere corridors in a superb and natural area. Staff reminded us of party obedience. Grottoes 5 minutes away. No place for late risers given that check out time is 10am. |

Our room was quiet and the hotel is beside the entrance to the caves. We were able to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. |

The room was quite spacious. The hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good and very filling. The hotel is walking distance to the Postojna Caves. There was no view, but that was ok for the price. |

Brilliant location, right by the caves. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely large rooms and balconies with great views. It is pretty ugly from the outside, and the decor is somewhat outdated (or retro, as we like to think of it!) |

Hotel staff was very good, we have received all the information that we needed. Very close to the entering of Postojna Cave. Old communist style hotel, old furniture, strange smell in the room. The picture on the site looks 100 times more beautiful than in reality. |

Postojna Caves this has to be the worst hotel in the world, putting aside cultural differences, the building has severe concrete mould with iron sections coming through where concrete material has eroded. there were limescale marks and even stalagmites on our balcony. there was only tepid warm water at night, no hot water at all in the morning, we left the hotel unwashed. there was an enormous grasshopper |
