I liked comfort and breakfast area

Pool is freezing, impossible to swim in, no swimmers inside. All only in jacuzzi. Parking needed to be paid same price outside of the hotel, not using garage, as we would use garage 18 eur. No person at pool after 17 hours, towels all arround ...

Everything is on a luxury level!

We think your staff is terrific! In many hotels, luxury or middle-priced, the staff is competent and friendly, but in your palace, the staff we encountered went the extra mile to serve and were flexible about the house rules. The best proof of how much we like the hotel is that we stayed an extra two nights, eliminating a reservation elsewhere, and appreciating the upgrade for the entire stay. Everyone was great, but I must especially single out Concierge (soon manager?) Kristjian. I came to your area to find my mother's (Brajkovich) origins. I did not find her mother and father's birthplace, but I found Slovenia and the Kempinski Palace Potoroz, which I loved.

In room 412, a most perfect hotel room that has it all, I would appreciate safety grab handles in the shower. The shower over deep tub, with its swinging glass door, is tricky for an older (77 years) guest.

We stayed for just one night, but the overall impression is extremly satisfying. The room was in the old building, it was huge and nicely furnished. The bed was very, very large :) and we slept like kings. We had breakfast on the terrace which overlooks the Portoroz beach and it was excellent, plenty of choices and immaculate staff. Definitely would like to come back for a longer stay.

Breakfast was amazing with a beautiful view. Beautiful architecture with old and modern building, combined.

Wellness was poor. Cold indoor pool, small sauner, not operated pool bar and not warm and friendly feeling. Old infrastructure. Room infrastructure (shower) was poor and 4-star maximum. Watch out: parking is chared seperately (18.-) but you are not informed about it in advance.

The rooms were comfortable, the beds very comfortable

The room we had was in the new (modern) part of the hotel, unfortunately very loud during the night. When it was not the neighbouring discos, it was the street providing an unbearable noise during the night. The food at the bar was average and overpriced. 19Eur for a tasteless burger, which was not even freshly made.

Renovated old luxury hotel. The old building was constructed at the beguinning of last century, now it's reallly luxury hotel as others of Kempinsky. Sea water pool and variaty of saunas.

Misunderstanding with using beach facilities. You should pay extra for using Exclusive Medusa beach per day per person or pay less for beach beds and umprella but you should have your own towel. Otherwise you can stay near the hotel's pool with sea water but without sea...

The hotel was everything we expected: We stayed at the new wing, our rooms were very large (we reserved 2 Deluxe rooms and were upgraded to a Suite instead of one of them). The bathrooms were spectacular, the room was so well equipped, with many electrical sockets (good for charging all our gadgets...), many towels, a rich mini-bar, tv and great bed and bed linen. Most of the rooms walls were glass, so we could enjoy the beautiful view. Service was kind and attentive. Breakfast was one of the best I ever had - everything was lovely - plenty of fruits, fruit juices and vegetables, many types of cheese, bread, pastries, eggs, cereal and more. We had all our breakfasts on the terrace, which was so pleasant.

We did not enjoy the restaurant - Fleur de Sel. We had dinner there one night, after dining for 2 consecutive nights in a splendid restaurant on the beach (Majestic - try the Sea-bass in the oven!). Fleur de Sel promises but does not deliver the best of the best. Some of the dishes were quite bad, the service was rather slow and the wine prices - outrageous. In such an amazing hotel I would expect the restaurant to compare in standard.

The ambience, service, location, breakfast are all world-class. The swimming pool/spa area is also very nice. A brilliant place to relax and unwind.

Very good hotel - the price is accordingly. 30 meters from sea shore.

We were upgraded to a room with sea view at weekend. We weren't told that the noise from the beach is too loud and continues up to 3 A.M at least - making the sleep mission impossible. At 00:30 we've complained and the staff moved us to a backward, higher room - which was O.K. Despite this - in general, they were O.K.

the pool stuff should more often clean the surrounding of the pool. because there were lot of trees and flowers at the balconies- so during the windy days there were a lot of leafs fallen down.

Restaurant "Sophia" is neither gourmet nor slow food (as advertised). Very high wine prices.

Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast, excellent location. I felt very nice surrounded with diligent staff. Worth the money I spent. I'll come back again.

daß der Rasenmäher am Samstagmittag so laut war und man ihm am Pool hören konnte :) Also nicht wirklich etwas
