A business hotel in the very heart of Novo Mesto, the Krka Hotel offers comfortable accommodation as well as a range of convention facilities with cutting-edge audio and video equipment.

The central location allows guests an easy access to the many delights of Novo Mesto, such as the city's cultural and historical sites, the museum, and the many shopping opportunities.

The hotel has pleasant and comfortable rooms, offering everything required to make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience.

After a hard day's work, seminar and congress participants can find relaxation in the idyllic environment of the nearby Trška Mountain, where you will be treated to a selection of local delicacies at the Krka Wine Room. This includes the specialities of the local cuisine as well as the region's famous cuvée wine Cviček. From the Wine Room, you can enjoy the unique view of the valley where Novo Mesto is situated.

If you are the athletic type, the nearby Krka River offers a range of outdoor opportunities. If you want to unwind, the nearby Otočec Castle, Dolenjske Toplice and Šmarješke Toplice spa centres offer a range of great recreation and relaxation possibilities.

All children from 4 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.

All older children or adults are charged 80 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Food & beverage

The pleasant setting of the hotel's restaurant offers self-service light meals and lunch every weekday. The restaurant, which seats 70 guests, can also cater for larger groups for events such as formal dinners, receptions, hot-and-cold buffets, cocktail parties and weddings. It enjoys an excellent local reputation, and the head chef takes great pride in offering a range of meals which mix local specialities with contemporary cooking styles.

It is open from Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 09:00 and from Monday to Thursday from 18:00 to 23:00. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it is open from 07:00 to 10:00.

Area information

In Novo Mesto there are plenty of historical sites to visit: the Chapter Church, the Franciscan monastery with its ancient library and the Jakac House which houses a permanent display of works by one of the greatest Slovenian visual artists.

Also interesting is the Lukenjska Cave near Prečna (15 km), which served as a dwelling for Stone Age people.
