Pension Lectar  

Pension Lectar has nice taverna with excellent domestic dishes. Rooms are big and comfortable made in rural style, soft bed and pillows.

Prices in taverna are very high comparing to prices of similar taverna's in Bled, and Bled is much more touristic place than Radovljica.No hair dryer in rooms.Prices of rooms relatively high comparing to 4star hotels in Bled. Breakfest service for second day was very poor. Breakfest is from 8 till 10am. We came at 9am and we waited 20 minutes to start have our meal as on buffet table were missing: glasses, cups, plates, juice, eggs, croissants, salami...and kitchen is just 5 meters from buffet table!

The hosts were wonderful - very helpful. The hotel itself very comfortable and good location. Wonderful little village.

We were not too happy with our dinner - mostly the meats were overcooked. So an ok meal. But there are other places to eat so this shouldn't be something to stop you from staying at the hotel.

Very interesting. Out of the normal. The room was large with access to a large, roof-top terrace. Very ancient building with modern rooms. An enjoyable stay.

Not really a complaint, but you do have to park outside the walls of this old, walled center city and walk 200 -300 feet to the hotel. And no elevator, which could effect older guest, but they also asked to help with luggage, so not a problem to people without significant mobility problems. An easy 6-7 km drive up to the Lake Bled area.

Friendly staff. Very interesting location in the city center, in the old house with "life museum" - gingerbread bakery which is still working. Very good breakfast buffet (local, fresh and homemade products).

There was a great real medieval atmosphere in the hotel as well as in the small city. The staff was very pleasant and fluent in English. We stayed at several hotels this summer and realized that pleasant staff is more important than we thought before. The rooms are furnished authentically, ours overlooked directly onto a charming main medieval street.

Very nice hotel. It's in very small town center, not far away from famous Bled lake. Hotel is very stylish (looks like an old style- beginning of 20 century), settled in old Slovenian house. Has absolutely nice restaurant with terrace on first floor. The kitchen is very good. We were admired with owners (hotel is a family business) and stuff of hotel. Very friendly and smiling people. You feel that they doing the job with heart. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for staying in Slovenia if you want to visit Bled and its surroundings. Super place to stay!!!

A very historic hotel (500 years old) with a very famous resturant The people are very friendly and the location is in the middle of an middel age town. A lot going on Is ideal for visiting Bled and Ljubljana Hohgly recomended

Pleasant hotel in delightful village/town, good sized rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Central location in town , and convenient for trips to Bled & elsewhere. Good value for money.

This is our 2nd time here and we will surely come again. The hotel is one of a kind and the hospitality of the people is par to none. A real treasure.

It was our second time staying at Pension Lectar. Great service, very friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable room.....old world with modern conveniences included! Awesome restaurant. Another great stay!

Struttura molto particolare. Ubicata in un tranquillo paesino in prossimità della più famosa Bled è una base di partenza ideale per visitare la zona nord-ovest della Slovenia con Bled appunto (7km), le località montane come Kranjska Gora,etc.. Al ristorante, caloroso locale in tipico stile centro europeo, potrete assaggiare cucina slovena ottimamente cucinata per poi riposarvi nelle romantiche camere al piano di sopra. Atmosfera cordiale e rilassante. Museo/negozio interno dove è possibile acquistare il famoso pane allo zenzero a forma di cuore. Parcheggio gratuito in prossimità (50m).

uns hat das alte haus,am alten platz mit seinen geschmackvoll eingerichteten zimmern und guter küche sehr gut gfallen. die leute im haus sind alle sehr nett.
