Slovenija Hotel is a sophisticated business and congress hotel with spacious and elegantly furnished rooms and with balconies, a majority offering also a wonderful panoramic view of the Bay of Piran. The hotel has an indoor passage to the swimming pools with heated sea water as well as to the Wai Thai, the centre of traditional Thai massage. The hotel has a private beach with exclusive facilities.
Portorož belongs with its sub-mediterranean climate among the warmest areas of Slovenia. There are many sunny days. The yearly average of the them amounts to 2346 hours.The precipitations are scarce and range between 1000 and 1100 mm per year. The mild winters with temperatures very rarely below zero are characteristic, as well as not too hot summers. Due to that the visitors not able to support the severe heat of the southern parts of Mediterranean in summer, are the most frequent guests.
Portorož is part of the Municipality of Piran that lies on the foremost north-western tip of the Istrian peninsula and covers 43 square km with 17,000 inhabitants. Along the majority of Slovenian population, there lives also an Italian minority. On the bi-lingual area together with the Slovenian language, the Italian language is used on equal grounds. The municipality is composed of the town core Piran, mundane Portorož, the settlements Lucija, Strunjan, Sečovlje and the hinterland of Slovenian Istria with the pertaining villages. The entire western and southern part of the municipality is engulfed by the sea, which with the Strunjan, Portorož and Sečovlje bays also reaches considerably inland.

A bit too noisy during the night - on can hear showering from other rooms ets, noise from a heating system was disturbing, missing paper napkins in the bathroom. |

The situation of the hotel was perfect, the room was clean, safe and quiet and the breakfast was really good. Swimming pools and terrace were wonderful and the staff was kind and helpful. I do recommend this hotel. |

big and clean rooms, free welness center ( except sauna park ), nice staff, good atmosphere NO INTERNET in the rooms, difficoult to find because there are 6 hotel in the same chain ( with the same adress !!!! ) so I lose 40 mintues to find the right one... |

Big and clean rooms, welness center, staff No internet connection in the rooms. Difficoult to find the right hotel because lifeclass resort is a company that has 6 hotels in Portoroz so I try to find the right hotel ( nobody could help me...) and I lose 40 minutes... |

It's situeted in the centre of the town with lots of bars and shops near by, close to the beach and many walking possibilities alonge the coast. The pool was close on the last day of my stay, noone warn me about it. |

I am not an pretentious guest, so I have good expirience with the hotel. I saw many of them worldwide so it's comparable to competitors. The price vs. confort is OK. But there is alwys but.... .....I can't imagine that your hotell do not support the internet acces from the room (kind of wireless or wired it can be...). Today is the web acces MUST and not add value, because we all work after we finished with the summits or conferencess...And Portorož is a core slovenian kongress area so it's unacceptable to not provide the access. |

I found only two benefits for the hotel we stayed; the location and view to the sea. As it was mentioned from other participants, the hotel has a very good wellness center but I dinn't afford it. the rooms (only for internet booking guests) do not have safety and automatic locker system; the breakfast (food, service and dinning room) was very poorwas |
