I booked a room 3 weeks ago and spent 5 nights in Hotel Riviera. The breakfast is ok. Small rooms, expensive WIFI, dirty pool, the breakfast is from 7-10 while in the kempinsky its till 12:00.. The hotel parking is always full, its behind the buildings. No good restaurant in the hotel. I paid 18 euros extra for 2 waters and a cola from the minibar. And they dont fill the minibar when you drink something.

The staff is nice and polite in both hotels - Riviera and Slovenia. I have asked the staff to change our rooms and we go from hotel Riviera to hotel Slovenia. The rooms in hotel Slovenia are nice and well renovated. In hotel Riviera the rooms are not renovated and with low quality. They look like in a 3 stars hotels. The lobby in hotel Slovenia is not renovated and it is very small.

Location near Trieste airport, excellent spa facilities and lovely high street with plenty shops and cafetiere bars. In Portoroze town Would like to see more entertainment, dance and music events, basically we could not spend our money. The hotel set up is traditionally based on socialist economy. The same offers as 20 years ago, except spa facilities nothing new.

Very convenient for visiting the wai thai center The pool area was very poor and quite old. Limited sauna facilities. The hotel level doesn't deserve 4 stars.

Nice to have indoor spa with large pools and good water. Nobody mentioned that there was an extra charge for the saunas in both spas. Very little activity is allowed for children in the pools as if there were to be made for pensioners only. But there are always a lot of children around. Teher was no mentioning that the family rooms are on the back side of Hotel Slovenia, thus have no sea-view.

Good value hotel although I think it's a little 'tired' and would not match up to 4 Star hotels. It would be an excellent 3 star hotel. The added fscilities like the spa (excellent) I guess contribute to the 4 star rating. The noise from across the street is excessive and spoils the hotel experience. It would be better if hotel management could speak with the club management and the local authorities to try and control that. For example, there was a guy playing a trumpet (!) across the road outside a club at 2 am one night/morning and other people playing in a fountain at 3am another. If Lifeclass and Portoroz are aiming for a backpacker/clubber type guest then fine, but that's not the image nor the marketing it uses at the moment.

everything is nice, if you come to Portoroz, or Piran, it is one of the best choice there is no sand-beach in this area air condition was bad, but repaired the last day of our stay shower is not good during "high shower hour" (after swimming before dinner), otherwise good near port, feel the sea water oiled(Piran's water is better)

We were there to celebrate our third wedding anniversary and the hotel surprised us with a beautifully arranged rose, a bottle of brillant wine and a plate full of pralinés. Everyone was very friendly and no matter what language you speak, the staff will do as well... :-)

The pool was great and so was the sun deck. The location was perfect, parking very convenient. The walls were a bit too thin so we could hear our noisy neighbors. The food was okay but not special.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel Slovenia.
