I liked nothing about this disgusting place. Cannot even call it a hotel...Absolutely disgusting...AVOID!!! When I arrived, no one to book me in. When eventually someone came they did not understand english yet I was assured english speaking staff. Bugs in my room & I was given spray to kill them with when I complained. Woke up after sleeping on to of bed with beetles under cover. Door to bathroom would not open fully as was blocked by toilet I had to twist & cajole my body into toilet cum shower...Broken tiles...flaking paint no soap and tiny tiny towel which was in need of laundering....Best thing about this dump was the EXIT....AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

The staff was friendly. They agreed to let us put our groceries in the hotel fridge while we stayed there. Breakfast was fine. The room was very small . We had to climb our suitcases in order to move in the room. So was the bathroom. The blinds to the terrace were broken so we could not go out and sit there unless we put a rope around it after pulling it up. From the balcony/terrace you had a full view of the adjacent rooms and so did they regarding our room.

Basic hotel Inexpensive restaurant with decent food and beer Friendly staff with limited English Slovenian TV is subtitled, not dubbed, so there were some interesting shows that we could understand Full length mirror Nice view of Adriatic from terrace Difficult to figure out how to flush toilet, and impossible for shorter persons to reach flusher Some items in room require maintenance Less comfortable bed Location at top of hill can be challenging for cyclists

The place is just fine for a short trip, for a longer stay I would look for something else. No highlights apart from a kind staff. Both the beach in Portoroz and the city of Piran are really close. Nothing that would strike you, however things could be improved. Looks clean, though you may notice a bug and a spider here and there as we did. The breakfast was good as for a one-day stay but you would get really tired with it after a few days. To reach it by foot from the bus stop or the beach you need to go up a very steep hill for about ten minutes, so it's best for people with a car.

The apartment needs urgently to be modernized, but for a stay overnight ok. A longer stay is not really recommended. It depends on the need for comfort whether the conditions could be accepted. The breakfast is a good value (buffett - EUR 4,50/person), but the coffee is awfull. WLAN didn't work in our apartement because of the distance tothe router (stands in reception). As we only spent one night this was no problem.

The staff is very friendly and always seems to patch up for the many faults the rooms have. If you do not demand too much and just want to emjoy the seaside and need to save some money, this is your place. I also suggest dinner that stays at 8 euro per meal and it is abundant, just like the buffet breakfast. No airconditioning, rooms are the smallest ever, towels changed only once in a week, but they mentioned there was water shortage. They mention air conditioning in the rooms, but there was just a small fan to cover the heat...

We could bring our dog. The breakfast was realy nice. The room was very small and it looked at the road. We realy missed a frigde and it was located realy high up the hill side, however we enjoyed our holiday, but didn't spend too much time at the hotel.

Best value for money you can get in Portorož. The coast is like 5 min walk away, the location is very nice. The only problems was the parking. There is a small parking place which isnt enough for all guests, but I have found a place to park like 200 m away from the hotel so it wasnt a big deal.

Great view and location. For the price, there were no complaints as to the size or cleanliness of the residence. Would recommend to anyone who does not have high expectations on the lodging, but high expectations of visiting the local town of Piran. This residence is perfect to meet the basic requirements. Need fans or screens/screendoors. Family had a bunch of bug bites after only a one night stay. Parking is first come/first served, do not bring a large vehicle.

View of the sea from the bedroom balcony, good car park. Breakfast on the terrace. Tiny bathroom , my wife unable to flush the loo , this was cited high on the wall I am 5/6in I could just about reach, electric plug sockets loose with wires showing, roller blind to balcony door no longer working, no privacy on balcony, needed air con when we was there, top of a steep hill. This hotel in good condition would be a great place to stay. Shame.

Location, quite close to the city center. However it is up the hill. If you fancy climbing up the hill you will like it. Beds were 1,80 m long. After we mentioned it to the owner, she started to laugh and said that all room have the same beds. So if you are 1,60 m long beds are good enough, but if you are taller your feets are hangings outside of the bed. In the morning there was only cold water. After we asked to fixed it no one came to do it so we left the place after taking a cold shower, brrr. Breakfast was very poor.

Location, a la carte food ( quality & quantity) - To pay at check in - the rooms / WC+bathrooam are absolutely small ( no place to make a turn) - cleanliness (ants on the ground) - no place to look at the TV ( it is above the bed , but no place between the wall and the bed) - punk furniture - non-usable shutter
