Seaside Hotel Marko is located right in the center of Portoroz, only a few steps from the beach, and offers magnificent views of the sea. It also features free Wi-Fi.
Score from 869 reviews Excellent
The traditional Hotel Bio offers homely decorated rooms fitted with free Wi-Fi, while free on-site parking is provided as well. The historical centre of Koper is 1.5 km away.

Located 1 km from the Portorož Marina, Guesthouse Gala offers a buffet restaurant and a bar, as well as a balcony in each unit. Free Wi-Fi access is provided.
Score from 210 reviews Very good
Set on a sunny hillside rising above Portorož, Apartments Vila Toni is surrounded by a pine tree forest and typical Mediterranean plants.
Score from 105 reviews Very good
There is free car parking.
The bathroom was tiny - very cramped. Only one member of staff spoke any English. The hotel is a steep climb from the sea front, it would not be suitable for elderly or infirm guests.
It took about 8 minutes walk down the road to get from hotel to Portorož center
Takes about 15 minutes walk up a mountainy road to get to hotel from Portorož center
Large and clean apartment for excellent price for Portoroz. View is also nice.
Its a bit far from the beach and downhill so the problem is the way up :) special with the small children. No wi fi in the rooms.
The location of the hotel is good. You have to climb from the seaside, but the view is stunning.
You get what you pay for. Nothing more and nothing less. The internet signal was to poor.
It's a great place with it's own spirit - parties and dances, nice restaurant. The hosts are very helpful and nice, the area is quiet and and very picturesque, sea view from the rooms and fresh air - very nice. The only minus - it's hard to get back from the sea (it is situated on the top, but it's a good chance to be thin and tiny ;-)
No wi-fi in rooms
Nice view, nice staff, close to Piran, nice if you are with car you have a parking space.
Very basic breakfast, room close to the road it can get little noisy
Nice view. Not far from the sea. All bare necessities present. Big terrace.
Breakfast for four euros was as basic as can be.
Value for the money, the view (from the terrace where breakfast is served), quite nice breakfast portfolio considering it's only 2 star accomodation
Bad or no WiFi coverage from the apartments, however not an issue for one night only. For parking it's written to reserve it if you come with the car, however they told me that's not necessary, but be aware if you arrive to late in the night you might not be able to park. I was unable to come out of the parking to early in the morning due to too many cars that were stuffed in the parking.
It's a very basic hotel. At the same price there are plenty of other better quality places.
Breakfast wasn't good, furniture in the room was very old, room was very small, bathroom not enough clean. To times per week we saw cockroaches in our room. Our room was very noisy because our windows looked to the highway. Hotel personnel doesn't speak English. Wi-fi worked very bad and only in reception.
There was an effort to provide a good breakfast. The view from the terrace was nice. The cleaning staff were pleasant.
The receptionist was no where to be found and when she did arrive was in a rush and I felt like an inconvenience more than a guest. Some of the services advertised were not available such as transportation to Portoroz and free wifi. The single room was very small and not very peaceful since it was close to a busy street. The facilities needs more looking after.
personal of the hotel are not professionals at all
breakfast is very good great view
Quite nice view from the restaurant terrace. Nice terrace to sit on. Good parking. Location reasonably convenient for Piran. Adequate for a short stay; nothing special though.
Room is very small.
Parking, pogled kuhinja
No internet in bungalov, no shampoo, no soap , no air condition , milion mosquito, hot room.
nice personnel small but variated breakfast buffet (e.g. each day different kind of egg dishes) sound price/performance ratio
bed a little bid on the soft side worn (dilapitated) furnishings
1. Cheap. 2. Parking.
1. Uphill from the sea, 12 min walk. 2. Some spiders and worms in the room. 3. No air condition 4. Rather poor breakfast.
It's a nice enough guesthouse. Cheaper than most in the area, nice continental breakfast, outdoor seating in restaurant with lovely views of the ocean, free WiFi, close to portoroz town and bus stops.
What they fail to mention on their website or any other booking site is that it is at the top of a very long, very steep hill! I am a fairly fit person and do lots of exercise in the form of cardio, squats, lunges, etc, but getting up that hill (especially with luggage) is a challenge, and had my legs burning every time. Therefore, I would say this place is not suitable for unfit or elderly people or small children. Room was very small, but I didn't spend much time in there so didn't bother me. Staff speak very little English so cannot offer travel advice or anything, but tourist information is about a 10 minute walk away and they are very helpful. Also, there is very little soundproofing. Can hear footsteps, talking, people unlocking their doors and every other noise. Apart from the hill and the noise was a lovely little guesthouse.
Lots of space in the rooms Rooms devided in depandances
Old furniture Poor breakfast A long walk from the centre In the hills
Sea views, parking, quiet place to rest.
Shower cabin should be replaced. No mosquito nets on the windows. Located on the top of the hill.
there isn't any parking place in the garden, and in the main street is not possible! we try to cook some meet in the kitchen, but the cooker is runing out! It must pay in the first time, but not change....
staff, location, view from tarace
broken handle in shower, shower cabin, too small parking lot
Nice view and good parking space
Quit far from the sea
