What they fail to mention on their website or any other booking site is that it is at the top of a very long, very steep hill! I am a fairly fit person and do lots of exercise in the form of cardio, squats, lunges, etc, but getting up that hill (especially with luggage) is a challenge, and had my legs burning every time. Therefore, I would say this place is not suitable for unfit or elderly people or small children.
Room was very small, but I didn't spend much time in there so didn't bother me.
Staff speak very little English so cannot offer travel advice or anything, but tourist information is about a 10 minute walk away and they are very helpful.
Also, there is very little soundproofing. Can hear footsteps, talking, people unlocking their doors and every other noise.
Apart from the hill and the noise was a lovely little guesthouse.
It's a nice enough guesthouse. Cheaper than most in the area, nice continental breakfast, outdoor seating in restaurant with lovely views of the ocean, free WiFi, close to portoroz town and bus stops.
