Receptionen var öppen dygnet runt, rummen var jättefina samt att det fanns tillgång till garage för bilen. Läget var också lysande bra. Trevlig personal och en mycket bra frukost. Vi saknade pool och fitnessavdelningar, vi tyckte att matsalens öppettider var lite konstiga om man jämför med de övriga resturangerna i stan. |

Vacker byggnad, stämningsfullt i kvällsljus. Vacker trädgård. Bra frukost, bra med möjlighet att äta den utomhus. Nära till badet. Utlovad internetmöjlighet placerad i uppbokat/låst konferensrum - ej tillgänglig. Dyra solstolar/parasoll på "hotellstranden". |

Before we came to Hotel Marko we spend a couple of days in a lousy hostel in Ljubljana, so the Hotel Marko was like a trip to heaven. Nice and clean room, friendly staff, rich breakfast, comfortable beds, balkony with sea view, clean bathroom, flat screen, even hot water in the shower and toiletpaper! ;) And all that for a very reasonable price! The location of the hotel is good, too. Although it is not centered between the other big hotels in Portoroz in the very heart of the town, Portoroz is so small that the Hotel is still very close to everything. I would highly recommend to pay the extra 10 Euros/night for the sea view, since it is totally worth it. If you don't, you will have the panoramc view over the hotel garage. Everything was as it should be. No complaints. |

Clean, spacy room, good staff, garage, breakfast...excellent hotel! The beach this hotel provides the entrance for, is not directly in front of the hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is far too expencive (150 eur/ person discounted price for 7 days) |

Balcony with sea view, nice and chilled out, quite in the evenings. Hotel ok with us brining own drinks - even opened a bottle of wine we purchased in shop. |

The breakfast was quite good The view from my room was of a car park entrance and was about 3m away so not much natural light could come in, the staff were polite, though I felt this was a struggle for them and none of them had any recommendations about places to eat other than their restaurant at the hotel. The bed and pillows were rock solid - nothing was available when we asked for alternatives. All in all, E120 for what we got was extortionate, I had a much nicer stay at Pri Marku near Kranj and in the wine region of Medana (Touristica Belica) and both were cheaper, friendlier and made me want to return. Hotel Marko did not! |

Hotel Marko's staff is very friendly and attentive. Admin is easy and flexible, breakfast table is always filled even in last 10 minutes, staff is discretely doing their job. The atmosphere and the setting is very nice and relaxing. It's a pity that smoking is allowed at the breakfast table. Would be nice if the hotel negotiated some kind of a discount for usage of the beach bars. One would expect that for a true 4 star hotel. |
