Hotel Marko  

Comfortable room, very good service with friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast in well appointed breakfast room.The availabilty of the garage was a plus.

The balcony was not clean before we arrived or during our stay. There were cobwebs at the side underneath the roof space and the tiles were dirty. This in contrast to the room which was spotless throughout.

On-site garage, although it had to be paid extra. NIce view, quiet place.

Price is a bit high for the level of facilities. A tea kettle would be nice.

Nice location. Centrally located. With garage. Furniture of the room: good quality. Breakfast excellent.

Location was good. It's an older hotel but kept in decent condition.

The elevator from the parking lot is broken. Not sure how long it's been broken but, from the look of it, quite awhile. They really need to have it fixed because hauling luggage with two kids in tow is not an easy task.

I booked a room with a sea view. Not only did I get a sea view, but a balcony as well. Breakfasts were superb.

It is smaller and quieter than the bigger hotels further along the road, while still offering convenient access to other facilities. It has great views towards Croatia.

We were surprised that the hotel has 4 stars given the lack of facilities eg no pool.

We found that hotel as one of the best 4- stars hotel in Portoroz. Very pleasant territory near the entrance, nice view from the balcony (we had a room with a sea view), spacious room. Very homelike hotel! Location is perfect as it is aside of more crowdly places but only 5 minutes by walk to the center of promenade. The beach is also not very crowd (if compare with the center of promenade). We shall stay in that hotel again!

Outstanding hotel, excellent location view hudreds meters from citycenter, but rather calm place, excellent food for breakfast, also excellent in the restaurant for the dinner, own closed garage, nice clean room.

We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor with sea views. The room was spacious and very clean with a nice bathroom. There was a mini bar in the room and plenty of wardrobe space. Breakfast was taken on the outside terrace and there was a really good choice of food. The whole place was very clean and of a high standard. We would definitely recommend Hotel Marko.
