Clean and tidy rooms, comfortable bed, nice balcony overlooking sea. Nice parking in covered garage, reasonably cheap at 7euro per day Personally I was glad that the nearest disco and casino were some 100m away so no excess disco sound.

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and good service. Especially the hotel restaurant is really good. If you book a room with sea view, be prepared that it is a little noisier than the other rooms due to the road in front of the hotel. There is not much sea view anyhow as it is blocked by several trees. Overall I can fully recommend this hotel!

Garage! Very safe parking! Hotel is located 100m close to the see. For the people they like Portoroz it is a good place to stay. WiWi in the room was o.k. The star category has lost touch with reality. Breakfast is got with the really bad coffee. They could buy any better coffee - sort for these stars. :)

Location was good. It's an older hotel but kept in decent condition. The elevator from the parking lot is broken. Not sure how long it's been broken but, from the look of it, quite awhile. They really need to have it fixed because hauling luggage with two kids in tow is not an easy task.

It is smaller and quieter than the bigger hotels further along the road, while still offering convenient access to other facilities. It has great views towards Croatia. We were surprised that the hotel has 4 stars given the lack of facilities eg no pool.

We found that hotel as one of the best 4- stars hotel in Portoroz. Very pleasant territory near the entrance, nice view from the balcony (we had a room with a sea view), spacious room. Very homelike hotel! Location is perfect as it is aside of more crowdly places but only 5 minutes by walk to the center of promenade. The beach is also not very crowd (if compare with the center of promenade). We shall stay in that hotel again! Not good internet connection.

Outstanding hotel, excellent location view hudreds meters from citycenter, but rather calm place, excellent food for breakfast, also excellent in the restaurant for the dinner, own closed garage, nice clean room.

We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor with sea views. The room was spacious and very clean with a nice bathroom. There was a mini bar in the room and plenty of wardrobe space. Breakfast was taken on the outside terrace and there was a really good choice of food. The whole place was very clean and of a high standard. We would definitely recommend Hotel Marko.

Location, style, view, elegance, balcony, The contents of the fridge should be more varied; but cheaper. Cleanness/cosmetics bottles (shampoo, liquid soap) should be in different colours to enable older guests recognize them without glasses, Conditioner should be added to the shampoo. In breakfast room - add cold milk, if possible.
