staff were very friendly and helpfull specially Domin. Good location in the centre of the city.

Great location as it's very central. Nice interior design. Clean and very good internet connection.

Staff was nice but didn't go out their way to tell us what places were worth visiting or restaurants to eat at.

Its location. It is right inside the Old Town (no car zone) and within walking distance to attractions, resturants/bars, markets, and shops.

No car zone means you have to drag your luggages from the dropoff point (about 10/15 minutes walk) to your apartment. Some of that may be over cobble stone streets.

We had a really wonderful time in Lubljana at especially at Mescanka. Sasa was so kind and friendly. We will come back in autumn. We can hardly wait.

The location is nice, just near the river at the city center though it takes 20 mins walk from the train station. The room is modern and well equipped.

A bit difficult to find the main door and the room is quite small. The cups are dirty and we have to wash it ourselves before use. There is no 24 hours reception service. The wall is think so u can hear the voice of the next door.

Cozy, clean and modern furniture and fittings. Owner placed some ear plugs in the room as there was some renovation going on.

While the stairs were wide, perhaps installing some railing would help provide support when hauling up luggage to the rooms upstairs.

Opposite a bar so there was noise until quite late if you had the window open. When shut there was no noise.

Very nice apartment located in the heart of Ljubljana. The interior represents a great combination of old pieces of furniture placed in the new design.

Unfortunately, it was quite noisy in the room - particialy from other rooms upstairs and another from outside.

Location and staff were outstanding. Organised taxi from the airport. Location by the river is perfect, easy walk to all the restaurants and sights. The room was beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and linens/towels

The pillows! They were so flat (even my boyfriend who sleeps on his back couldn't get comfortable). Maybe a second pillow would be good.

Wonderful !! When can we come back to Apartments Mescanka and Llubljana!!!?? Very friendly and helpful staff - great location - and great double glazed windows so you can be in the centre of where its happening, even in the new years celebrations, and still sleep !! Great apartment for a little bit of self catering - especially handy for gluten free self catering. Warm, quiet, roomy, great views, and very comfortable. I think my holidays really started when we did open the windows one morning to the sunny winter crisp air and the music from the cafe downstairs came in (80's classics .. maybe others would need to keep the windows closed a bit longer !!) Perfect !!

Absolutely nothing ! planning to come back back as soon as possible !

We had a wonderful 2 days at Mescanka. The staff/management were very friendly and helpful, and location near the Three Bridges was excellent for anyone wanting to explore Ljubljana's charming old city. We would definitely recommend this place. Ben and Bree

The location was amazing. As well Sasha is a very kind person and knows how to meet up guests. Heating and hot water are also great. Tea and coffee facilities when u wake up early in the morning and there is no open bar, it's a PLUS.

Due to the location in the centre, if you go weekdays should be fine, but during weekends or bank holidays, there is a bar-night club and people go outside for smoking and therefore their conversations are very loud, so u can not sleep.

Mescanka is a nice little boutique hotel which is situated about 100metres from the main square, right along the river. The hotel is very pleasantly decorated, with a modern, contemporary design. The hotel manager sasha was very warm and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and very clean. They have the usual amenities like a water boiler to make tea etc etc. Overall it was a pleasant stay, nothing fanciful, but we realized that the price is a steal for a place like Ljubljana, as most hotels would cost more for that sort of accommodation

The room was nicely furnished but a little too cramped. The heater was either spoilt or far too complicated to operate, and we gave up halfway. There is no 24hour reception, although they did mention that we could contact that management at any time should we need assistance

Best location for an apartment, a bar in the same building but still a quiet and comfortable place!

We loved the apartment suite. It had one bedroom with ensuite bath for the adults, and a loft bedroom for the kids. The location is amazing - you can see the castle in the skylight when sitting in the living room. It has a kitchen, good wi-fi, and is in a recently reovated building. The heat worked great.

some people might not like the noise from the street down below, but we loved it. The beds were -very- firm, takes some getting used to.q

Excellent location, in very heart of the city. It was close to many locally popular bars. It's in the vicinity of the castle, open market and all the main tourist spots in the city center. Despite the central location, in our apartment we didn't hear anything from noisy surroundings. Place itself is a spacy, nice blend of traditional/rustic and modern interiors. In fact, I wont even consider another place for stay in Ljubljana if come there again.
